Coral Bay Harbour

Post by Dominic »

Coral Bay is rightly famous for having two of the nicest beaches in Paphos, but it also plays host to a small harbour. Let's go take a look...

Read the article and chat about it below...

I know I did. I normally post the two together, if I have a film and a blog. Not everybody watches films, and vice verca.

I enjoyed walking the new (to me) section of the coastal path from Corralia Car Park down to Coral Beach Hotel, then up the steps to the Thalassa Hotel, which looks as if it has closed up at least at present. But we were surprised to find that the actual distance appeared shorter than it did in Dominic's film. But it is a pleasant walk and the surroundings are attractive and well maintained.

I think films give an illusion of going faster than you actually are. When I first started publishing them lots of people commented on how fast I appeared to be going. When I used decent stabilisation, people stopped commenting because the bumps make it appear faster. Perhaps as this was a walking tour and has more bumps than a car film, it adds to the apparent speed, making you think the distance is longer?

Jeba,
At a guess it is Corallia Beach, which is a long sandy beach shown in this video.

Agreed Corallia Beach for me, busy but less crowded with Taverna and good facilities on hand. 8-)
I started off with nothing and have most of it left !
