This was a failed experiment. Or was it? You decide...
The idea was to capture Kato Paphos in Slow Motion, as we drone through it. To be honest though, I think the slomo works better with closeups of people, rather than distant views. However, you might like it, so I thought there would be no harm in trimming the footage and showing the bit featuring the seafront. I've added some ambient music to help set the scene. If you like the effect let me know and I can do more. And if you think it sucks, I won't be insulted!
If you like the music, you will find it put to more tranquil use in the rest of the Relaxing Cyprus series. All the music in this film has previously been featured there. I wasn't originally going to include this film in the series, but you know what? If you actually watch a bit of it, with the music, it is pretty relaxing, and strangely beautiful. It's as if it is trying to tell us that the world will look a lot nicer if we just slow down a bit, relax and appreciate what we have, for what it is.

@ 7.50 in the film, you will see Peter with the red shoes.
He is the "greeter" for the restaurant Mare Mare, upstairs.
He is from Romania and been in Paphos for many years.
Say hello to him and you might spend a long time chatting.

I liked it. About my walking pace and can actually look at things as you go past slowly. Thank you

At that speed I felt like a voyeur as my eyes focussed on the ladies legs & enjoyed the music
Joking apart my wife wants to visit Paphos again next year but not stay in a Hotel. She wants to be a little more adventurous & stay in an apartment
I have reluctantly agreed but any personal experiences or suggestions would be welcome perhaps by PM

Liked it BUT would like it just a tad quicker. NOT fast like you usually do. Thanks for the music as well.
All things are possible

I think I know the chap you mean. He waved at the camera in a previous film.memory man wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 1:28 pm @ 7.50 in the film, you will see Peter with the red shoes.

Well that was surprisingly popular. I perhaps need to do some more walkie talkie films. That way I will be able to say Hello to Peter!
