The SODAP Beach Cafe

Post by Dominic »

They've been building a new beach cafe down on the SODAP Beach in Paphos. It is now finished, and we think it looks rather lovely. Don't take our word for it though, come and see for yourself.

The beach café/restaurant is called Antasia and belongs to the same group as The Annabelle, Almyra and Anassa Hotel.

It’s a great location for an evening drink watching the sun go down, it appears to be a beach club charging €15 for 2 sunbeds towels umbrella and WIFI, I would except it’s expensive if it’s part of the Thanos Group

The charge will not affect me, but thank you for making people aware of it before they go.

We went there today and it was really nice. We sat on the top part and enjoyed the views across to the harbour.

The main bar area on the next floor down is fully air conditioned with another outside terraced seating area. We didn’t eat but the menu looked very good and varied so we’ll eat next time.

You can still hire sunbeds on the beach for the regular €2.50.

Is that expensive really, last time we were able to be in Paphos, it was €2.50 for each sunbed and €2.50 for the umbrella, so there's €7.50.
We provided our own towels, which had to be washed, and there was no WiFi.

The €2.50 charge for beds and umbrellas is set as the maximum by government.

Looking at the Lunch and Dinner menus together with the wine list all very nice but no prices which is usually a sign of expensive, think we will stick to Fitos and Petradaki in Kathikas.

Anybody can make a website. And I changed the name of the beach too. It's real name isn't the SODAP Beach, but Vrysoudia A. Or something.
