Went into lidls today everyone wearing masks, as i was leaving three eastern europeans walk in without masks, the security guard on the door, tell s them they must wear a mask to come in, the thre man smile and walk in, I A women standing there, said to the guard, why did you let them in with out masks, he gave the shrug, got a feeling if they had been smaller then him he would of stood his ground .

It seems to me that all of us, no matter which country you live in, are fighting a loosing battle. We have the same problem here, with the same people, they either don't know or don't care. I have stopped going into one local supermarket, because the fruit pickers here, don't do social distancing in any way, or use sanitizers.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.

Very happy today in Paps in town, by the lights. Everyone wearing masks. All the staff wearing them correctly. Temp taken on entry.
All things are possible

I find its less crowded generally when I go into supermarkets, shops etc early morning. Am happy to get my temperature taken on entry as it shows that the store is taking sensible precautions against the virus... and am wearing my mask correctly.
Most people I've seen in Cyprus are doing this. But my worry is that some tourists won't bother.
During the lock down here the police presence was noticeable and added gravitas to the situation ....as did the prospect of getting a €300 fine.
But since then the police are taking a generally low profile.

I forgot mine too yesterday at the Pharmacy, even though I was speaking to the pharmacist who was wearing one, albeit under his nose. I only realised as I turned to leave and the guy waiting 2m behind me had one of those plastic ones. I made a quick departure!
Re: Masks mandatory from tonight.
It would seem Lidl security are not stopping non mask wearers from entry as there were 2 individuals casually wandering around the aisles today without masks.
