EXCHANGE OF MEU1 AND MEU3
EXCHANGE OF MEU1 AND MEU3
Now that the widrawal agreement has (just about)been signed has anyone heard or read when(and where) we will be able to exhange our existiong documents for new ones as promised in Cyprus Govt Publications?
Re: EXCHANGE OF MEU1 AND MEU3
I personally think that is likely to be next year, as it will take quite a bit of organising

Re: EXCHANGE OF MEU1 AND MEU3
So in the mentime I assume we can use existing documents for travelling and return to Cyprus?
Re: EXCHANGE OF MEU1 AND MEU3
The yellow slip will be required on exit/entry to Cyprus. Then you will not have the 90 stamp in your passport - Otherwise,
a stamp will state up to 90 days this includes the day of entry and the day of departure.

All things are possible
Re: EXCHANGE OF MEU1 AND MEU3
I don't think you are correct. There is a 1 year transition period during which nothing changes,

Re: EXCHANGE OF MEU1 AND MEU3
Sorry my tablet playing up..
Cont. It is still possible that some people who have lived here for a long time may still have an old yellow slip. These were issued by immigration long before the advent of the MEU 1 and 3. The old yellow slip which was also on a yellow paper is no longer valid.
I hope this hasn’t confused anyone!

Re: EXCHANGE OF MEU1 AND MEU3
Thanks to those who clarified what a yellow slip was. I hope they appreciate that without this clarification there might have been some confusion, especially as the MEU certificates were also yellow.
