And another very happy customer of TransferWise. A recent transfer took only 4 hours to hit my Cyprus account.

Re: HP Printer Ink Cartridges
Thank you all for your recommendations. I am going to give Cartridge World a try as they will deliver to Kamares. Their prices are very reasonable.

HP Printer Ink Cartridges
Any recommendations where to buy HP Printer Cartridges either in Pafos or online please? I used to purchase them from Inkredible Ink in the UK but they are no longer going to be able to supply the ones for my printer. :( There appears to be a shortage of printer inks in general (in the UK) mostly du...

Re: Postal delays
On a positive note, a Royal Mail Track and Trace package was mailed to me from Bromley last Friday and landed Larnaca yesterday (Monday). It arrived Pafos District PO this morning (Tuesday) and is ready for signature and collection. That was pretty quick!

Re: Can you spot the meteor?
Great photos Max. I took a late night swim and just stared up at the millions of stars but, sadly, did not spot any meteors. I did spot a couple of planes so high up I couldn’t even hear their engines.

Wow Max, what a find! Great job locating not one but two rivers to irrigate the gardens.

Re: International Space Station 4 August
The ISS is passing overhead tonight (4 Aug) in a south easterly direction at 20.48. Weather permitting and, as this time it will be fully dark, it should be a good sighting.

Re: Masks mandatory from tonight.
New rules for masks seems to coincide the the number of flights arriving today and the fact that the Cypriot holiday is about to start. Lots more people around. Really hope we don't get a second wave...... I agree and that’s why I have just decided to self isolate and will watch and see what happens.

Re: Masks mandatory from tonight.
Been wearing them for weeks in Scotland, just normal now. Me too - well, not in Scotland - but outside my Cyprus house and car, on goes the mask and gloves before I enter anywhere there are people whether they are wearing a mask or not. I always take hand sanitiser with me too. Can’t be too careful...

Very kind of you to offer, but if you could just let me know I will go and get and buy some other bits too. I always come out of Lidl with more than I went in for! Thank you.

Re: Putting Syrian sweets on the map in Paphos
HIC is the shop located on the left as you go around from Kennedy Square heading toward the Polis Road? I can’t wait to visit the shop, I used to buy very nutty sweets (not as sweet and syrupy as Greek Mini pastres) from the Syrian Shop years ago.

Lidl Coffee Beans/Yorkshire Tea
Hi If anyone should spot coffee beans in Polis Road Lidl, could you please let me know. They had sold out when on offer last week by Friday. Thank you. Does anyone know where I might find Yorkshire tea bags available now. My elderly neighbour is climbing the walls as I haven’t been able to get them ...

Re: Garden Furniture
Hi I would just like to thank everyone who recommended Pani. I went to his store today and decided on very nice top quality natural rattan furniture. I visited the two other main home centres and most of the rattan furniture was plastic and nowhere near the quality of Pani. As said, he is a very nic...
