Re: UK cases lowest for a month

Mask wearing is no longer mandatory in the UK and it is down to personal preference. The Head of the NHS has said that 20% of those currently being treated in hospitals are aged between 18-34. This mirrors the stats that suggest that the age group most resistant to the vaccinations are the 30-39's....

Re: Miss England.

I have travelled for most of my life as an Army brat and as an immigrant resident in various States around the Near and Middle East. I first saw 'England' when I was 5 and it happened to be in the grip of a severe winter. Gosh it was cold and seemed very dowdy. It has of course been an immigrant sta...

Logic would dictate that you therefore remain in Quarantine until your allotted period is over.

Re: U.K. Isolation

The exemption to Isolating is only for those that have had the NHS Vaccinations, so just tourists returning from an amber list country. I suspect it a bit immaterial given the state of play in Cyprus and the real possibility of it being placed on the UK Red list very soon.

They are randomly stamping UK Passports on entry according to a few people on Paphos Chat. One lady with a yellow slip did not get a stamp whilst she saw the person in front, also with a yellow slip, get a stamp.

Re: Mini Series Recommendation

I would recommend 'Domina' for those that like the idea of a prequel to what was dramatised in 'I Claudius'. A fascinating look into the development of the first Roman Imperial Family.

Re: MEU 1

Hi Neil, We got back to the UK on Dec 19th straight into a Welsh Lockdown. Our surgery was postponed and now we are not able to get back before late August. I emailed the MOI and got a quick response saying just bring evidence of surgery etc and all will be fine as that constitutes an exemption. Kee...

Re: will we get the green light

It's just a notion of mine but I have the idea that the period of mass package tourism may be coming to an end. I would imagine the thousands of flights per year just for tourism may not be sustainable given the worlds desire to combat climate change.
