Re: Paphos Winter Tourism hit by Thomas Cook collapse

Thomas Cook didn't operate a winter service to Paphos. April/May to October was their timetable. Very poor journalism, if the headline is incorrect the rest of the story loses all credibility for me.

Re: Stark, staring, bonkers.

I don't have a problem with this. If the Cypriots want to recognise or celebrate a Greek day or even an event in Thailand for instance why should it matter to Brits. There is many a times the UK Govt recognise the days or events of countries outside of the UK. Be respectful of your hosts is all i'll...

Re: Aluminium Guttering

I've used WindowRama on a couple of occasions as has friends of mine.
Highly recommended, quick and professional. Cost approx €35 a metre.
I would suggest keeping your plastic downpipes as aluminium ones have that ping ping sound when there is small drips from condensation etc.

Re: Recommendations for Exterior Emulsion/Coating

I'm planning to paint my villa in the spring and after extensive research I've decided (subject to adverse reviews which to date haven't been found) to use Sherwin Williams Loxon paint from SuperHome Center. This paint has a much better spread rate than all the other top acrylics and has had a large...

I'd make sure auto updates are turned off if I were you.
Otherwise Infomir might just block your box now they have your number.

Re: So, the Autocratic Dictator Johnson is Proroguing parliament. Very democratic.

So you're saying he should go to the EU and see what they offer? He should sit there and not express an opinion? It's not for the EU to make any offer. It's his job (for which he's very well paid) to make an offer to the EU based on the instruction from parliament. It's called democracy. And what h...

It is indeed, Les. But trust me when I tell you the pound's demise is nothing to do with Brexit :?
That's a very strange statement to make. Would you care to elaborate?

Re: So, the Autocratic Dictator Johnson is Proroguing parliament. Very democratic.

Why is he doing the opposite? He is required to send the letter, which I am assuming he will do. He is also expressing his opinion. Are you saying he shouldn't tell the EU what he wants? No, he shouldn't tell the EU what he wants. He's a representative. Are MP's there to express their own views or ...

Re: So, the Autocratic Dictator Johnson is Proroguing parliament. Very democratic.

He is doing what Parliament require of him. He is also doing what he has said and that is to try and get Britain out by 31 October. You still haven't explained why that is nasty. Perhaps you'd care to explain what is nasty about that. I get that you don't like him, I get that you are a remainer, wh...

HaHa!

The irony is that the Austin Allegro was only produced after we joined the EU.
Maybe it should have been the Morris Marina pictured.

The shred of evidence is the amount of members enlisted to the Labour party since Jeremy Corbyn (with the help of said members) became leader. Ignore it at your peril. Or joint the Lib Dems like your predecessors.
Back your Democratic leader or leave.

Re: Another Remain Loser

The coward Cameron said that the referendum would be the decision of the people whether to leave the EU or remain in it, he did not say that it was 'advisory' he also said that if it was a leave vote, which it was, that he would trigger article 50 immediately, there's no bigger liar than him. Seems...
