Re: Is the Press..Especially the BBC determined to Bring the Government Down?

Varky perhaps that is the plan - Maybe she does not wish to be the government that a) does the Brexit negotiations and b) be responsible for the mess it will cause and is prepared to let Labour a) do the hard work and b) take the blame when it all goes wrong!

Re: Is the Press..Especially the BBC determined to Bring the Government Down?

Why has this person involved himself in this apart from playing politics? It seems that he is out to cause trouble rather than help the people. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/06/16/mustafa-almansur-organiser-grenfell-tower-protest-movement/ The organiser of Friday's Grenfell Tower demonstratio...

Why is it that if you die in a terrorist attack (as in Manchester/London) you are reported as killed rather than murdered?

Smudger why is Ariana Grande a brave girl? She was quick enough to disappear on the night and leave the country and cancel her London gig - yes she did the Manchester concert however she was never the target two weeks ago or last night. Getting up and singing in crowd is not been brave. The person t...

Hadn't we better ban horse racing and greyhound racing as they die doing their activities for the enjoyment of us humans! As Rita says fox hunting is not an elite sport, the fox hunts I used to attend were supported by all classes of society and a good day out in open countryside and fresh air with ...

Unfortunately ACAB was quite commonly tattooed on knuckles of hands amongst people I had to deal with especially on those that had resided in young offenders institutions (or Borstals for us older people!) Regarding the CCTV in Paphos is it watched live by a unit that can report the going ons to eit...

Re: RUGBY

Whilst watching the last few International rugby games I have noticed that at the back of the players shirts (Whatever happened to the old fashioned cotton loose fitting rugby shirts?) there is a padded section about 3 inches by 1 inch just below the hem of the neck, any ideas what this is for? It a...

Police charged 164 drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol during an anti-drink and drive campaign from January 16-22 with the Nicosia district chalking up the most offenders. The campaign which was part of efforts to redu...

A motorist who was charged with speeding after being snapped by a speed camera has had his case thrown out by a Nicosia magistrate after prosecutors took more than two years to prosecute. Re: Drink Driving .

Cyprusgrump - you are so so wrong - speed kills and is in every factor of road accidents. IF cars travel slower they are involved in less accidents, have less serious injuries and the death rate would be lower, less damage to vehicles. Travelling fast is not an issue till something goes wrong then i...
