Re: German investors redistribute resources following Brexit

In stark contrast too the 'appearance' of wealth, the anti poverty & hunger UK group, the Trussell Trust, has stated that between April 2016/April 2017, it's UK foodbanks use has continued to rise with over 1million three day emergency food parcels given to people in crisis. Of the 500,000 emerg...

Re: Cost of Brexit: The impact on business and the economy so far

Re: Surprise of the first hot night

Re: German investors redistribute resources following Brexit

I agree HiC, the rise in food prices, energy bills, council tax etc is certainly not scare mongering, they are facts. The British consumer is in for a rough ride ahead, & having kept the economy buoyant previously with continued spending, they are starting to tighten their belts. :?

Re: Aphrodite's Rock Brewery - Gender Bias

Having worked for the military for over 20yrs. as a serving soldier & civilian, I encountered both strong/weak men, & strong/weak women. Invariably, the women had to work twice as hard as the men in order to prove they were as capable of doing the job & in doing so, earned the respect of...

I am sorry to hear that you are leaving Geoff, & hope that you will reconsider. There is nothing more boring than a debate where everyone agrees with each other, as Photolady said, you more than hold your own with those that disagree with your opinion which adds to the mix of often entertaining ...

Re: Lloyds Of London Move

I never suggested they would move lock, stock & barrel to Brussels, I was merely pointing out that if they saw the necessity to open a subsidiary there, then others would surely follow in order to keep their passporting rights also.
