Re: Bizarre car theft Peyia NY Eve/Day

Actual car theft in Cyprus is very unusual, only known of a few in twenty years, one was a truck a few houses up from ours, never found, we think stripped for spares.

Very happy the CRV was found and with no damage. who had the key?

Re: Bank Transfers back to the UK.

I sent the article from the Mail to Transferwise and have just got this reply from them. Kirill Zinin wrote: Thanks for the wishes and passing this on Jim, I’m sorry to hear this might or already is an obstacle for you. Yes, the bank is in the way, and but we’ll try affecting this. Re: Bank Transfers back to the UK.

I did not see your post Lloyd, I never trawl back through postings. I never have, but the more see this the better. I always use Transferwise myself, although every time I do with larger amounts I have to phone my UK bank (Lloyds) to speak to a bank Fraud department, they then give me long check out...

Re: Clean Up Paphos!

Well, yes you did, in 2015 and 2016. But I really don't get what your issue is. What is wrong with highlighting where the recycling points are, and encouraging people to use them? Why be negative about that? I have no issues with the blog Dominic and it was not me in that old post that mentioned Gr...

I remember this at Vardas beach, it came on shore and damaged parts of the cafe structure, parts hitting a German chap, he was OK after a trip to the General

As to the year?, many years ago..I was not scared, too busy looking for shelter.

Yes then you understand we had no Green Points to discus, we involved local Authorities about this on going problem, much earlier than 2015.

If you see a love bite on Paul Hollywoods neck there is a good chance it was self inflicted. :-) I spotted that too Tel! but how did he do it, hot bottle maybe ;) My Greek Cypriot Kitchen is still in my opinion the best TV series on Cypriot food by the lovely Tonia Buxton.. https://www.youtube.com/...

[quote=Dominic post_id=45881 time=1514094717 user_id=157] The Cypriot authorities are doing something about it though. They are introducing these green points. We, as concerned citizens can do our bit, by actually using these Green Points. That is the purpose of this blog, to make people aware of t...

Re: Clean Up Paphos!

I said and posted the same with photos many years ago, in the vain hope the Cypriot Authorities would do something abbot it, alas they haven't, only some beach areas and mid town is ever cleaned, great shame on Paphos it must cost the tourists industry here.

A guy goes to the supermarket..

A guy goes to the supermarket and notices an attractive woman waving at him. She says hello. He’s rather taken aback because he can’t place where he knows her from. So he says, "Do you know me?" To which she replies, "I think you’re the father of one of my kids." Now his mind tra...
