Re: UK Government scraps pension triple lock for 2022/23

For once??? Don't make me laugh. In the real world lots of salaries have been stagnant for years. An 8% rise compared to the 2% rise the NHS got is completely immoral, yes. What has the absolutely pathetic rise given to the NHS by the government got to do with pensions? Unfair in comparison maybe, ...

Re: UK Government scraps pension triple lock for 2022/23

What's the basis for your statement? You think a pension increase is immoral because a glitch in the matrix would give pensioners an unexpected bonus for once? The only thing immoral about this whole sorry state of affairs is the 10% NI levy affecting people who can afford it least while at the same...

Immoral? That's a little dramatic. Do you receive a state pension? If not, then surely you're not in a position to judge?

Re: Credit Card Small Business

Our bank (BoC) basically filled out the JCC form with us and organised everything. They were incredibly helpful and made the whole process very easy. JCC installed the unit soon after, again quick and easy. The whole process was far less painful than we were expecting.

Re: The origin of Bitcoin

Oh my goodness, why does everyone tar all crypto/digital currencies with the same brush? They aren't all dodgy wannabe Bitcoins and often have specific use-cases. Bitcoin itself is certainly environmentally horrendous, but the main reason China cut it off was because it had just launched the digital...

Re: Covpass … Green Pass … app … wallet … SafePass …

Not sure why - it is the simplest thing to do ... once you've gone back into eudcc.gov.cy and generated a new QR code with a TAN number (which wasn't on the original certificate when it first came out.

Mate could you explain to a dim wit like myself how you fold it,
Sure :D :D :D . Fold it in half across the short side first (top to bottom), then fold that left-to-right..

It's simple enough to look at INNET's brochure on Smart Parking, It shows four means of input from the user side, including coins.

It's here if you're interested https://inntenet.com/wp-content/uploads ... ochure.pdf

I think they play some great music. It's not on TuneIn, but there's a similar app called myTuner which has it.

Re: Renewal of a Cyprus driving licence New Rules

The mind boggles at why you would question the requirement. My wife and I exchanged our old paper licenses for the new plastic ones a couple of months ago at Polis. I asked them what they needed when I went in to make the appointment and similarly they said 6 months electricity bills, copy of MEU1 a...

I thought the Gesy portal was excellent. Shows you when and where different types of vaccination are available and it's very quick and easy to use. Logged on at 8:00am, all done by 8:02 at my preferred location with my preferred vaccine.

Re: A nice cheerful tune

It is a wonderful album. I'm a big Sparks fan and was due to go and see them in Berlin last October. Understandably cancelled, but there's also a new documentary about them by Edgar Wright (who directed the Shaun Of The Dead trilogy amongst other things) called "The Sparks Brothers" which ...

I switched from TuneIn to myTuner mainly to be able to get VIva as it doesn't broadcast as far as Polis. Works just the same plus it's also available on Sonos.
