Re: For Max - your next mission....

Well, I really must be getting over my spider phobia, because I felt a bit sorry for the poor thing! It's just trying to keep out of the way of trouble it seems.

Re: 2017 in pictures

Sometimes I think that I post to many pics, but when I get nice comments about them I feel approved. I can't help, but as I am already more than 40 years living in Cyprus I want to share my knowledge about this beautiful Island with these PL members which are newcomer or just a couple of years here...

Re: My favourite animal pics 2017 #2

Woop woop, just wonderful! I love those pictures Max. I will be doing some of those ideas too, like nesting boxes and a little lid of honey for the lizard. What a nice man you are, thank you again for sharing, it brightens my day (and I suspect a lot of others as well)

Re: Patio doors and windows locks

I would also vote for Paul at Pick a Lock. Very helpful, and does a good job. He put some nice locks on our patio doors, different for upstairs and downstairs with the downstairs ones being like this - https://www.lockshopdirect.co.uk/products/yale-p124-patio-door-lock-p-124-we-1-lock-and-2-keys-224...

Re: My favourite animal pics 2017

Absolutely wonderful photography, made even better by the commentary. Agreed Yioula, they should be in a magazine - or a Paphos Life calendar, like Countryfile do! I was impressed by the bee, the details you can see even though it is flying. Thank you Max, you bring a lot to the forum and go to a lot...

Re: NCA Most wanted

I think these are all ancient Biblical curses to inflict upon your worst enemies, Bograt. They always make me chuckle, though, and hopefully come true, when aimed at some of the low life who claim to be a part of modern civilized societies... AL ;) Ah yes indeed. The ancient Biblical curse of Viper...

Re: NCA Most wanted

I hope not, Flossie. But I do have a message for these low-life scum, wherever they are, and it's nothing to do with Christmas, either... "May the fleas from a thousand camels forever infest your arseholes. May scorpions, terantulas and cockroaches accompany you in your bed. And may Blunt Nose...

Re: Clean Up Paphos!

Thank you very much, Dominic for this great blog. It is not only nice to watch the lovely photos from our Paphos countryside but also very informative. Many people will use these recycling places if they know WHERE to go, specially for large items like old white ware or furniture. For plastic, pape...

Re: Further discussions about Clean Up Paphos!

Thank you Dominic, for highlighting the Green Points and telling us where they are. I for one didn't know. When I am back over in a couple of weeks, I am going to make a point of using the Peyia one regularly. Be the change you want to see, as the saying goes. Happy Christmas.

Re: Fablon

I saw some sticky backed plastic in the Lemba Bazaar, there were a few different ones. I'm bringing some over from Wilko in a couple of weeks for a little kitchen project, so I will wish us both luck with that. May our work be bubble free - cheers.

Re: St George and Blue Cross Ambulance

There has been so much mucking about with this company, that I haven't renewed my membership. If necessary, but hopefully never, I'll take my chances with the General Hospital ambulance service. I'm inclined to agree with you. I did go in to the Kissonerga office to pick up a leaflet about their se...

St George and Blue Cross Ambulance

I received a text message the other day from the old Phoenix Ambulance people, now St George and Blue Cross. It read as follows (sorry for the annoying text speak!): "Pls can u let me know if u r going 2 renew ur membership? if not i will archive ur file we r st george & b/x formally phoeni...
