Flew back yesterday to Manchester

It took no more than 45 minutes from landing to exiting the terminal building and we had to collect a case.

Absolutely fantastic!

Have just come through T1 security at Manchester.

Was very busy. Fortunately we booked fast track which at a fiver a head was well worth it. Took us about 20 minutes to get through.

UK inflation rate is currently 6.2%, exactly half of the 3.1% increase that many pensioners will get.

Didn’t see much for pensioners in the Chancellor’s spring statement today…….

Flew over on Sunday with Jet2 and it wasn’t a requirement to wear a mask onboard, only a recommendation.

I bought a Toyota Yaris hybrid new back in September. I would estimate it spends about 40% of driving time in electric mode and as a result fuel consumption averages around 62 mpg. It is a self charging hybrid so I view time in electric mode as free motoring! I find it a very smooth and entertaining...

Watching this video I’m reminded of the 1st time we came to Cyprus in late August 2001. We stayed in the Avanti and used to see the lorries laden with grapes waiting outside the old Sodap Winery. Doesn’t seem like 20+ years ago!
