Paulaf. The Seafare has been closed for a while. Its a coffee shop now. A shame as it was one of my favourites too. First went there in 2000.

Articles in the UK say its the south of the island thats affected most and the north is ok

Trireme. I tried to use the test method with my uk registered phone and it wouldn't send the message.

Not much use if you are a tourist with a UK mobile as the message won't send. The other machine took cash if you have €1 change.

Does anyone know what the yellow marks on the ground are for in picture nine on the second page. They seem to be drawn across the base for the palm trees.

I seem to recall that when the works were done there years ago all the shop fronts had to be altered so that they were all the same. Perhaps that what they want now.
