Re: Flu/Covid
LB So you can research things without a link! Quote 'Firefly, I think you're being deliberately contumacious. Most people when posting information obtained from a published source helpfully incude a link to that source,or if requested to do so then comply. You seem to have some sort of aversion to do ...

Other than that, is it really too hard to look for yourself?
I never knew that to belong to this forum, it was a requirement to comply with another posters request. Interesting, or it could be.

You say that the effects of having Covid, were minimal to you. Just so we know, have you ever had Covid vaccine?

Re: Flu/Covid
Maybe, but the majority of those who succumbed to Covid, HAD underlying medical conditions.
As for side effects, it has to be decided if it is better to cope with the side effects of the vaccine, or the effect of catching Covid.

Re: Flu/Covid
It has been the same in the UK, with people not taking up the offer of jabs, both flu and covid.
Without vaccine in years gone by, many of us wouldn't be here today.

Re cats hearing traffic, it appears that guide dogs cannot hear them either, very dangerous, and very frightening for the poor guide dogs.

Re: Update on crematorium?
Cremation has been carried out for centuries too, so nothing new there, pollution or not. It's down to personal choice now, surely. MOH wanted to be cremated, he asked that his ashes be placed into my coffin when I die, as I have arranged a woodland burial for myself. That has been agreed with the o...

Re: Update on crematorium?
If the crematorium should be built, would ashes be allowed to be repatriated to the UK I wonder.
It's so costly to repatriate a deceased loved one, to the UK for cremation.

Re: Suspected Frozen Shoulder
My G.P. confirmed my suspicions. Carry on with pain meds, physio in two weeks. I did mention hydrocortisone, but that was not going to be considered at this stage. My movement is severely restricted, as has been mentioned. Don't know how it will develop obviously, but at present, I'm trying to cope ...

Re: Suspected Frozen Shoulder
Thank you for your replies. I already take Co-codamol on a regular basis, so I hate to think what my shoulder would feel like if I didn't. Today I'm still in pain and unable to raise my left arm much. I will call my G.P.s surgery tomorrow, and ask for an emergency appointment. As I live alone, my da...

Suspected Frozen Shoulder
Has anyone on here ever suffered from a frozen shoulder? I have osteoarthritis anyway, but besides that, last night I had significant pain in my left shoulder. Today I cannot raise my arm to shoulder height, my arm feels weak, but no tingling, pins and needles. The pain is now worse in my neck and s...
