Re: Car sales recommendations.

Yep. For me and Him Indoors ANW in Tremithousa were the most genuine and honest people you could happen upon. Their way of doing business was also genuine and honest . . . . . . both buying and selling. In our experience Simon Emery was certainly very good at selling cars. When we left Paphos we got...

Re: Paphos Al

Thank you Bozzy for taking the time and effort to let us all know.

He certainly came across as a guy who loved Paphos and surrounding areas with a true passion.

So sorry to hear this news. X

Re: Clapping on touch down

I flew back from Thailand to the UK once and it was total anarchy. There was a huge food fight at one point. Garuda Airlines - they were spectacularly bad. They cancelled one flight and put all the passengers on another flight, with no thought for who was sitting where. So people all over the plane...

Our last dog was named Beardie. When we rescued him off the street his outstanding feature was a white lower jaw the rest being black. I was lucky enough to meet Beardie and he was a beautiful gentle giant. X My last 'beloved ' dog WAS a Beardie named Sprocket (Fraggle Rock). He was well behaved, b...

Re: Electricity bills to rise by 6.72 per cent

I look at the investment in a different light. I have a 5.5 Kw system and paid about 6.5K for it. I now look on the money spent as written off. My bi-monthly bills are about €64, I now don't have the worry of massive bills coming in which used to happen in the past. If I recoup the outlay all well ...

Re: Opticians - Emergency

I remember recommending Eye Contact to Trev and Hilary many many years ago whilst we lived in Cyprus. It's got to be said - we found them completely by accident. At the time, I had heard of Multifocal contact lenses. To me, that was a complete no brainer and I had to find someone who would give me t...
