Re: No swallows this year?
Two swallows visit us and sit on our ceiling fans under our patio singing to us on a daily basis. We have been advised they are surveying a nesting site. But we are not giving them planning permission because of the obvious mess they will make.

It may be a bit early to tell but, if these people do br...

Whilst I don’t condone violence, I can certainly understand how he felt. I’ve been in the queues at the SI offices on several occasions, one of the last times I witnessed a man on his knees in the middle of the office upstairs as he had no money to feed his family or pay his rent. 😢 Mmmmm,,i guess ...

Re: British citizens rights in EU/Cy after Brexit.
In todays Cyprus Financial Mirror https://www.financialmirror.com/2021/02/20/cyprus-real-estate-bashed-by-brexit/ Now that Brexit is over and done with, it made me think about what British nationals can or cannot do in Cyprus when buying real estate. As circumstances stand and without any change in...

Re: Title deeds..A new twist.

As for buying here, I personally have never been busier with all nationalities. The main delaying fac...

We have stopped going to LIDL and my wife will dash in and out (early morn's) just to get the two items she buys from there. Any reason you have " stopped going? " Two crowded and people jostling around the counters. Also, they kept moving stuff to different areas. Ah,you must be a young,...
