Well that's that done. I downloaded (backed up) all my data on to a memory stick. It took some time but now complete.The email was deleted. So now I am happy once again. Thanks to all the useful advice.

Just delete the email and forget about it. I still find amusing the emails from people trying to send me €50,000,000. Thanks for that Dom. I will delete it. I still am not sure. So I will just leave the email there, after all it can't do anything can it. As I am not a techie at all what I will do is a NEW complete backup up of all that I have-just in case.

I am not sure what my Google account is I do not recall having a Google + account. I use Firefox as my main one. I do have g-mail and do not want to lose that.
