I have just had my renewal email for my CDW insurance with worldwideinsure.com. It specifically states that residents of EEA are eligible for cover.

I have previously made a claim that was paid in full and was completely dealt with online.

Please note that the health insurance document also has to show that it covers Cyprus. Ours said "Zone 2" so we had to take the handbook to show that Zone 2 covered Europe.

At the top of the Mesoyi Road (up past the roundabout, Pani and the stone shop) there is a shop on the right that has mostly clothing in the windows but they do have a small hardware/gift section. They have kilner jars in there. Sorry, can't remember the name of the shop.

You will need to arrange Cypriot insurance BEFORE the plates are changed i.e. in order to get it registered. It is unlikely that the office in Nicosia will accept your UK insurance but will probably accept it as proof of no claims bonus.

That is exactly what happened to me and my wife.

Went down last week with the new S1 form that included my wife and they just took a copy of my medical card + yellow slip + wife's passport to send off. We didn't need to complete a new application form.

When we got our yellow slip last summer we had our wedding certificate with apostille because we still had it from getting residency in another country years ago. Cyprus immigration didn't even look at it!!
