We find this worthwhile, especially at Manchester, as the queue for security can be horrendous. It took us well over an hour ...

Re: Cost of Brexit: The impact on business and the economy so far

Should that come to pass then we'll weep and you can feel smug but in the meantime all your links are nothing more than personal assumptions of various "financial experts" who know nothing more than the rest of us. I don't want to feel smug. I have several children to think about. I can't...

Ho hum Susannah. Yawn....same old, same old. Only time will tell. Just wait and see and if you're right then crow then. And then what? Then it will be too late. Little England will be mentioned in the same breath as the Faroe islands, or some little backwater somewhere. No offence to people from th...

Re: Bus to Limmasol docks from Pafos

Al......the bus fare from PFO to town is 1.5 Euros. A taxi fare (if you book in advance) is around 25 Euros. I don't know what the airport taxis charge I'm afraid. You can also buy a day pass ticket for 5 Euros which lets you travel all round Paphos district eg Polis/Latsi etc on buses that are gene...

Re: Mays speech on Scotland

It's up to the Scots (not Scottish Hudswell) to decide their fate. We're a canny folk though can be roused at times by rhetoric. However I think you'll find common sense prevails in the end and certainly at the moment with the large deficit as it is and the price of oil having tumbled it's a far cry...

That's my local area and I'm shocked - the Tories will close the only hospital in the area meaning a 60 mile trip to Carlisle if there's an emergency or a woman's in labour, whereas Labour were campaigning to keep it open!!! The main employer is Sellafield and with the plans for a new reactor seemi...
