Re: Birmingham Pub Bombings

Hudswell Obviously Mr Mullins will not. I wonder too how people can live with themselves after committing mass murder, the cowards who do care not, having no conscience is a very strange concept to me. Then again does Mr Mullins really have the identity of one of the killers, or is it his ten minute...

I agree, but he didn't, and would they get 'life', meaning they would probably be out in 13 years to do it again.

Re: Birmingham Pub Bombings

Tonee I saw that programme too. Chris Mullins will probably be in fear for his life if he does name the person who confessed to him, what was the point in making the promise in the first place, if only he was going to know who it was, and what was the point in now admitting that he knew their identi...

Quite so, but if she had reported him to the police when it happened, they might have had evidence and prosecuted him, that's why I find it odd, why now ?

If we had been in the final we may have won, as it was Beckham made sure that we weren't.

Re: Trump's Latest!

Trump should have kept his loose mouth shut.

That said, I find it very odd that the accuser has waited until now, to make her allegations just at a crucial moment in a man's career.

Re: How dumb can they get?

Mustn't offend, must be politically correct, walk on egg shells, welcome to our stupid world, just hope that the whole thing turns full circle, and we can actually get back to being normal someday. What a waste of money, universities should be educating young people, instead of making them paranoid....

Re: New labels coming to petrol pumps

Hi Guys

Having just read my handbook, it says, "Only use unleaded fuel that complies with European standard EN228 or equivalent". "The engine is capable of running with fuel that contains up to 10% ethanol (e.g. E10)".

Which means to me, put in the cheapest.

Re: New labels coming to petrol pumps

Actually yes it came with two, and when I have a couple of weeks to spare and I have the inclination to be bored to tears, I'll probably read them. I have an all singing all dancing screen with wonderful touch controls, that will take a few days to get my head around. Taking chances Jeba, yes it's i...

Re: New labels coming to petrol pumps

Jeba I took delivery of my new Vauxhall Mokka exactly one month ago, it runs on petrol, no instructions from Vauxhall or the dealer that it has to be filled with a specific petrol. So in answer to your question, no, I take it that I would have been informed if it had been important to use one of the...

Re: Nationwide BS increase debit card fees

Mark Very sensible, we kept our UK account thank goodness, it was difficult enough returning to the UK after 9 years in Cyprus. Re Trevor's post, I did see the subject and thought I had missed something, I have a Nationwide account, and a debit card, but I didn't know the op was just referring to Cy...

Re: Could this possibly be seen as a hint of good news?

Jimgward Not often that we agree, but on this point we do. My friend has been forced through circumstances to put her husband into a care home. She looked at live in carers, £750.00 per week, they had to have a bedroom, be fed by her, obviously the use of her electricity, and probably internet also....

Re: New labels coming to petrol pumps

Very confusing for some older drivers out there, my car runs on unleaded petrol, that's all I need to know. I wonder how much all the change of signage will cost and more to the point, who's going to pay for it, any guesses ? Total madness.

Re: Alpha Bank account maintenance charge

When we had a savings account with Alpha, they charged us a maintenance fee annually, I soon moved it back to our UK bank where there was no such charge.
