Maybe they should have different staff to deal with the Agencies, assuming that everyone is being seen by the same staff, that is?
A good idea but a bit difficult when there appears to be only one or two staff dealing with things.

Kili01,
I don't mind queuing as long as my place in the queue is based on an even playing field. It seems nothing has changed over the last 20 years then. Progress indeed!

Re: Immigration today (Weds 23/10/19)

Macmaniac, In my opinion there is a difference between going via a private hospital for health services, which is a matter of choice, and doesn''t impact on the public health services and accessing a government immigration department where there is no alternative and you (not you personally) are in ...

Re: Immigration today (Weds 23/10/19)

My friend has an appointment for 10am today. Got ticket number 45 from Reception. Sat for 15 mins with no movement of people. Person next to my friend had No.10 so we went out for a coffee, coming back 75mins later. No.10 still sitting waiting patiently! Lady next to us said she was No.7 & had been...

Re: MEU3 application

I also tried putting 0500 in front of the ARC, but it says - Must start with '5' or '05' followed by 4-8 numbers . Tried various ways - upper case, lower case, switching first name to last and visa versa, putting 0 and 05 in front of ARC - but just get beneficiary not found Have you tried putting a...

Re: MEU3 application

But our yellow A4 size yellow papers (acquired in 2004 and have an expiry date of 2010) are MEU 7C (mine) and MEU 4A (hubby's) and I have tried to register with these for GESY and it just keeps saying the number is not recognised...presumably as they have expired Hence not able to register and henc...

Re: MEU3 application

How long after the immigration visit does it take to receive the MEU3 - by the way, what is it ....is it a paper slip or a plastic credit card type with photo on (like UK driving license) Do you have to wait until the MEU3 is physically received before registering with GESY, or are you given your M...

Re: MEU3 application

My wife and I went into Immigration last Thursday with all required documentation. Place was packed. However we were second in the queue at the reception. Got an appointment for next Wednesday and told to arrive at 08.30. I will report back on what occurs after the event.

Re: There dropping like flies

Just did a grammar check on the word THERE and nothing wrong will the spelling or use of the word there in it's context! It depends on what you are saying Either they are (they're) dropping like flies or there dropping like flies (inferring the place where they are dropping like flies). Spell check...

I was pointing out that the protestors weren't just the unemployed. I happened to see in the press a picture of an 83 year old man with his hand glued to a train. Now, you can take that and draw whatever conclusion you want.
So you were only pointing out the obvious tnen?

Re: The Worm has turned

Some of them were pensioners actually. So when it suits pensioners are to be listened to, but in other circumstances their opinions should be ignored. What are you on about now? An old man glued his hand to a train. He wasn't unemployed, he was a pensioner. That is the beginning and end of my point...

Re: EU and UK agree deal.

Turkeys don't vote for Christmas. If there is a no deal and subsequently a General election, how many remain MP's or those that have joined other parties are going to be re-elected or even re-selected by their local constituency parties? Why throw away a VERY nice little earner of being an MP with ...

Agree. That's what needs to happen. Why should this band of protesters disrupt and ruin everyone else's daily lives.
Surely it would be more productive to demonstrate against the embassies of those countries that are the largest producers of CO2 emissions.

Can someone remind Trump that Turkey has History on conducting Genocide. and yes the kurds didnt fight with the west in WW2 neither did Turkey. If one looks back as far as the Armenian genocide why not look at WWI when the Turks were on the side of the Germans fighting AGAINST the USA. Obviously Tr...

I would guess she should go straight to the minor surgery department. Just make herself known at the desk there and she will be seen in the small ante-room to the right just behind the curtain when it is her turn. At least that is my experience over the last few weeks. Just have her stickers from he...
