Re: Jet2
I fly to and from Uk with my granddaughter 3 times a year and if I could fly J2 each time I would be a happy bunny. More often than not we have to fly Ryanair, but depending where exactly we go each trip we often fly EasyJet or J2. J2 still comes out on top. If your friend has problems fitting his g...

Re: Donald Trump Inaugeration
I watched most of it (in between doing Georgi's French homework), enjoyed most of it, exceptions were the speech and the singer murdering the American National Anthem. Thought the Obamas and the Clintons were the essence of solid and polite American Society Edit - Dominic, I did use a couple of emoj...

Re: Drink Driving .
Absolutely priceless MM!! I have always maintained that the problem is twofold, firstly the abominable driving instruction and testing. Secondly, the poor standard and frequency of policing. Including - the non prosecution of friends, family, in laws, family of friends and in laws, cousins you've ne...

Re: Suicide victim’s widow calls for justice
Utterly disgraceful, Cyprus should be hanging its head in shame. Sadly, it won't. These mortgages reared their head about the time that I was buying my property, and I did seriously look into possibly taking out a small mortgage to ease my cash flow, but decided it was a risk too far on pension inco...

For some weird reason in Paps they're often on a different side of the carousel to the smaller packs, so check round the corner!

Re: New Art in Town
I'm fairly ambivalent now about these art works, but I think visitors will struggle to see the relevance, particularly when passing them on a roundabout, however major! I pass the one near ISOP school 4 tines a day and am becoming pretty familiar with it and understand it's relevance, but will one i...

Re: Nat West Bank question for when coming to Cyprus
I'm so glad I kept my Nationwide account in the UK when I moved out here 10 years ago. Albeit, it was pretty dormant for a few years, I had reason to reactivate it and its proved invaluable since. So to anyone moving out here, keep a UK bank account open if you can, its hellishly difficult to open o...

Sat navs!!!!!!'
Yukkk, used them several times in UK, but equally got lost several times in U.K.!! Having said that, Ipswich is a notoriously difficult town to navigate without knowing the city centre road and ring road so was happy to leave it to the sat nav.

Re: Cyprus Talks end in Geneva with no agreement, and now Erdogan has his say
Personally, I just find this pretty sad. Things seemed to be quite hopeful and this development just looks like cold water poured on what I thought were hopeful negotiations. Pray I'm wrong.

Re: Problems with Facebook
I do use Facebook, simply to keep in touch with friends in UK, and mainly from my last place of work and town I lived in. I do find I need to be a tad selective in what I watch, copy, share etc but no real probs.
