Could always try buying a local Sim such as so easy top it up and use that whilst here. Available in loads of local kiosks, just a thought.

EasyJet cut a lot of their routes over this past winter so i would not be surprised if Luton is off their schedule for next winter, BA fly into Gatwick and Ryanair into Stansted as other options, I have used both.

Now this is a journey i fancy taking, i would be intereted to hear anyone who has done this.

Yes thats correct Tuppence they are on the main road on both sides and they work as i have seen them flash many cars.

I know people think they are just money making gadgets but they serve a purpose and i guess just be careful dont jump the lights.

Great Video thank you, you mentioned that the St George traffic lights do not have those nasty cameras at them, well be careful as they do have those cameras that catch red light jumpers.

Yes the last time I was down there they were still there for rent, just to the left as you approach the church.

Interesting to see what happens with the restaurant development, I can't see all that redeveloped area being just restaurant though there's not the business down there even in summer, we will wait and see how it pans out.

As a follow up to this i was in Philippos yesterday and they no longer have this. An assistant told me it did not sell very well.
Not seen it anywhere else as yet.

I dont have a problem with self service at all and if they are free ie no queue i go straight to them, in the uk prefer the self scan hand held gadgets to as you just scan whilst going around the shop and at the checkout just pay and out the door, sign of the times me thinks.

I have seen it in Philippos at Coral bay, about a month ago.
