Re: Solar Cat Repeller
I've used fallen cones off trees placed in and around in my flower beds in the past, free and plenty of them on the ground of any forest. Cats don't like them.

Re: Immovable Property Tax
Hi Last year, out of the blue, we received 2 cheques for €356 from the government. They are refunds of IPT. I deposited my cheque into my BOC savings account but my wife doesn’t have a Cyprus bank account and there are no contact details on the cheque. Does anyone know the contact details of the re...

Morning Flyer, can I ask who gets to keep the log book ...

Re: Scrapping a Car
I thought the scrap merchant would fill the form in, you sign it and then he takes/ sends it where it needs to go. But you certainly do need to make sure that the car is 'written off' as far as the licencing people are concerned. Hi Trev, yes he will be completing the form, and I'll take it off him...

The New Revised Update
Hi everyone regarding this new revised update out today as in the paragraph below. I've followed the link monada2@mphs.gov.cy. to ''test'' it, before my return, and although it opens, I can't find where your supposed to report your negative result on that site. I'm back in Cyprus next month so any h...

Re: Paying for booster
Could I ask how or who do you contact to make that appointment at the hospital for a booster please. Thanks. I think you’ve previously commented that you’re not registered with GESY? If that’s still the case, I think your only option is a walk in vaccination as you won’t have access to the Vaccinat...

Using a solicitor as an executor of a will.
Hi all, I'm not sure how to put this but here goes. When you have named a solicitor as the executor of a will, do you then have to use that solicitor as the executor when the time comes to deal with the will after a death. Or are you allowed to name a different person as executor after a death. Any ...

Scrapping a failed MOT car.
Hi everyone, does anyone know what the procedure is to scrap a failed MOT car. I've looked on the Cyprus Transport website for forms but can't seem to find anything. Also if anyone knows of a scrap merchant that will come along and take the car away when the forms if any are completed. Any advice wo...

Re: Booster Jabs...
Good morning all, just a quick question, at 73yrs old and a resident of Cyprus, I have had both of my jabs in Cyprus after having notifications over my phone when and where to get them. My booster is due in January when the six months is up, I'm in the UK until then so when I return in January, will...

Safe pass to return to England for a 15 year old.
Hi all my 15 year old granddaughter over here in Cyprus for a break, armed with a Cyprus safe pass but has not been vaccinated, the letter came to her home to get her first jab the day after she left England. Now her Cyprus flight/safe pass has expired, it's not a problem as such as she doesn't leav...
