Re: MEU3 change of address

I have moved several times and each time been told it is not necessary to update my residential address with the Immigration Department. In every other country I have taken up residence it has been a formality to update the authorities with the current address. No wonder Cyprus has no idea how many ...

Re: Tala Square demolition plans.

It is indeed a shame, as it will spoil the square. However, I looked at the list of people who signed the petition so far and noticed an absence of Cypriot names. Whilst not a scientific analysis, it suggests the majority of people objecting are not Cypriots and therefore don't have votes in the ne...

Re: New Swimming Pool Rules For 2025 Provide Respite For Complexes

Visited Polis municipality yesterday about this and according to them, they are still waiting for official confirmation of everything, so currently old rules still apply. Perhaps you can show Polis Municipality The Public Swimming Pools Law of 2025 (Law 137(I)/2025) as published in the Cyprus Gazet...

Re: Paying bills

Sorry don't know the answer to this one but we know from postings they have stopped cashback. Now on Friday when I offered my loyalty card it was rejected. I expect Sklavenitis will have their own loyalty card at least. Papantoniou points stopped being issued 30 June 2025 but there were notices giv...

lifesabeach Re: Cyprus Cremation Society launches to advocate for end-of-life choices Post Sun Apr 27, 2025 6:40 pm It's seems a pity that this 'new organisation' is emerging now when the first crematorium in Cyprus will be ready next year. Let's hope this still progresses, as it seems folk on other side of island are a little miffed about this. I will be attending a meeting soon which has been arranged by Angel Guardians regarding the latest update about the progress of the Paphos crematorium. Article dated 26 April 2025 A new organi...

It's brightened my grey Monday morning.
Keep going - from my experience the more you contact the various departments, the sooner you will get a result.

Good Luck!

Re: Cypriot Pension paid to UK - is there anything else I can do?

You need 15 years of paying social in Cyprus, you will not receive a Cypriot pension, I'm sure this was already mentioned in your previous posts. (EU law) the credits you paid here are sent to the UK to top up your UK pension. I'm in the same boat, paid 13 years social here & receiving nothing....

Re: Cypriot Pension paid to UK - is there anything else I can do?

It seems that individual cases have different outcomes depending on: the amount of NI contributions paid in the UK, the amount of SI contributions paid in Cyprus, whether the full amount of contributions have been made in each instance to claim a full pension or whether the minimum amount of contrib...

So that's Pissouri police and Limassol police now taking action against these men.
Maybe if people report incidents to Paphos police they will also be deterred from attempting to sell windscreen wipers.

If you all just treat it as a single lane, and let drivers out of the carpark before turning into it, you will find your lives are a lot easier. Exactly Dominic I wish people would operate in a similar way when in a store and the lift doors open. So much easier to let people exit the lift and move ...
