Re: Passport Stamp & MEU3

One advantage of the MUKW biometric card is that your ID number is the same as your GESY number so no need to carry any additional proof of ID when visiting the doctor or for other medical services However, if eligible for the White Medical Card it is best to have it with you because certain service...

Re: Gesy GP

Dr Elpida Mala has been recommended to me also. I have applied to be registered with her. Excellent news because the lists of many Personal Doctors are full. Hope the application process goes smoothly. Do insist that you want to be able to access your GESY Beneficial Record (that way you can view a...

Re: GP convenient to Tala

The nearest clinic that has GESY facilities appears to be the Hippocratic Clinic, 6 Ellados Avenue. Tel: 26941910 That is up from Papantoniou supermarket on the opposite side. It is about 650 metres from Karavella Bus Station. Dr Natalia Atmatsidou is a Personal Doctor there. Other than that I can o...

Re: Paphos Smart Parking

Bumping this back up, sorry  We also have an ancient Android phone with a CYTA PAYG sim in it, but would prefer to use my 'inclusive' UK data rather than have to turn data on on the CYTA phone which will use up our credit. In that case you should be able to use the SMS method for smart parkin...

Re: GP convenient to Tala

I can only find bus route 604 from Tala which goes via Chloraka and Emba to Karavella bus station in the old town.

I have checked the GESY Personal Doctors list and the only PD within walking distance of a bus stop on that route is the one in Chloraka.

Re: Confliclting info re. paperwork for MUK3 biometric card

I exchanged my MEU3 document for the MUKW3 Biometric Card in May. I took my Passport + copy, MEU3 + copy and €30. Photograph and fingerprint done at the interview. As per the instructions that accompanied the application form. So you didn’t need to provide utilities bills? Passport + MEU3 only. The...

Re: Question on driving licence application form

I see on the application form that particular section tells people to See Note 14.

Translated from Greek Note 14 states:
If you have any doubts about your health status consult your GP or opthalmologist before completing the application form.

New Parking Meters - How do the authorities check?

Not had to use the Smart Parking system in Paphos but aware that an App or SMS message system is in place. How do the authorities check that the driver of a car parked in a particular parking space has paid? I appreciate that with the App people can start and end the period of parking so this is mor...
