Yes, you can in any case have another router behind the CYTA-router. In my case it is an ASUS Black Diamond RT N660U which is programmed to serve as a VPN router with HMA to avoid geoblocking issues.
Just stick it into one of the WAN connectors....

yes, I know anout the static IP business. However, that way I will disable DHCP, won´t I? Then every guest on my network will have to be allocated a static IP also? Or is my thinking wrong`

my general experience with CYT´s support has been very good as well.

It is just that I don´t really understand the current isssue and therefore are suspicious - since it also will cost money.
