Re: Anti Democracy Remainers (again)

Alan You can't really defend something that doesn't really exist. Hundreds of thousands of voters, if not millions were not allowed to vote for one reason or another in the referendum; I know for a fact because I was one of them. The 1.3 million EU citizens resident in the UK were not allowed to vo...

Re: So...will the Remainers predictions come true?

Right or wrong(and I think in this instance they are wrong btw), honest statements are to be applauded, especially in an arena where they are a rarity Applauded? 🤣Certainly not! Honest statements not to be applauded 😞. Are dishonest ones to be then??? That is entirely your choice, as is applauding ...

Re: Great news for Brexit

The sooner some Gammons lose a vote by whatever means, the better. Hardship wished on ordinary citizens is not morally correct under any circumstances. The one who won’t are the ones steering the gullible and naive over the precipice.... God love us! “Gammons”? By whatever means, I presume you mean...

Them sticking by such an anti democratic stance really isn’t something to boast about. In fact I’d say it’s the exact opposite.

Re: So...will the Remainers predictions come true?

RepeatIMG_20190816_085536.jpg Oh please! Can you actually come up with a coherent argument rather than merely copying and pasting soundbites? Quotation of soundbites is not intended as any sort of argument, just indicating how we cannot believe anything that is said by the government hard line Brex...

Re: Another Remain Loser

Did you actually bother to read the article you posted? It didn't say he didn't lie. It basically said that he's a politician so he's allowed to. If you want to claim that as a victory it is pathetic. Weirdly Dominic I did. I'm not claiming any victory, merely posting what happened. Did you actuall...

Anti Democracy Remainers (again)

Leaders of two political parties have said they wouldn't accept the result of another referendum if it was a vote for leave. Yet some on here still argue that Remainers are all for democracy, utter rubbish. When you have party leaders refusing to accept a democratic result unless it's the one they w...

Re: So...will the Remainers predictions come true?

Latest polls say that 70% of people are against a hard-Brexit - democracy anyone? Also, HAD the referendum been legal, rather than advisory, it would have been declared void due to illegalities. Since it was only advisory, the courts couldn't Take those steps. May treated it as legal, as does Boris...

Re: So...will the Remainers predictions come true?

Master of the understatement heh!! Alan? I read two really good quotes the other day about democracy "When politicians lie, democracy dies" And "Democracy is about more than just a vote". It appears Leavers are quite happy to see our country and people irrevocably damaged just to get their own way;...

It is easy to claim yourself just google claim form for particular airline. I’ve done it with easyJet and it was very q...

I’m still wondering who he is. Perhaps Les Bean can tell me as he posted the link?
He's a journalist.
"Tim spent 10 years till 2014, editing the Telegraph’s diary column and wrote diaries for the Mirror during the last two elections."
Thank you Oxford boy, appreciate the reply.
