Re: What a waste of tax payers money ?

Regarding the cost of all this, the Supreme Court justices would have been getting paid in any case, as would any government individuals involved, so no real extra costs there. The appellants should be funding their own legal representation, so no costs accruing to the public purse there. Maybe an o...

Re: What a waste of tax payers money ?

I don't usually post in this section because politics bores me to death. However, after just switching on Sky News & watch the Supreme Court of a panel of god knows how many judges / Lords sitting to decide whether what Boris did / advised the Queen was against the law. What a total waste of tax pa...

A few weeks ago there were frozen Cevapcici available but no longer. I hope they will be restocking.

Re: Problem Logging in to Gmail

Dominic,

You're a star. Once I found out where to allow non-secure applications on the Gmail site (which took a bit of tooing and froing) this sorted the problem. Thanks again.

Problem Logging in to Gmail

Has anyone had problems logging in to their Gmail account using Outlook 2016 over the last couple of days. I can access directly but like to be able to read my emails off-line.

Apart from reading these things on the internet, how are people (like me) with future appointments (date and time) supposed to know that they need a referral letter ?

Re: Geroskipou Bypass

I was under the impression it was to run from the roundabout by the American School through to MacDonalds which would divert traffic from the village centre. All traffic leaving the industrial site presently has to go into the village through a housing complex. Jim Although that is more than 1km it...

Re: Geroskipou Bypass

Seems to me that it only connects the road from the end of the motorway down to the Debenhams roundabout into the Geriskopou industrial estate, thereby cutting out the Debenhams roundabout, which, to me, was never a bottleneck, except when the stadium was being used.Lot of money for minimal gain.

Re: Geroskipou Bypass

Dominic,
What will be the advantages of said by-pass and will they justify the amount it will cost? I am not for or against the proposed by-pass, but perhaps I am missing something. Where does it start and where does it finish?

JimB,
The truth lies in the detail, you know, what you call pedantics. So you just omit them from any comments on the link. Some might say you are misleading.

Re: Appointment with Specialist Doctor at Paphos Hospital

There has been a subtle change to the procedure for seeing a specialist at the Paphos General. This came into being on 1st September and has caused a lot of problems when registering at the main desk to get your strip of stickers, to the extent that queues are once again tailing back to beyond the d...

Re: So...will the Remainers predictions come true?

So to balance things out here re a few predictions of what will happen if we remain:- Ah, here they come: Taxes imposed by the EU, slipped out unnoticed! This removes the ability of a Government to fund its own debt, to decide on what spending programmes it wants, to do anything, infact, that the EU...

Max already said it was a 10 second exposure.
But I was only answering Earlsfield's comment where he referred to a 'long' exposure.......nothing more than that.

Re: Unidentified flying object?

If it was on a long exposure then it could have been the Space Station, most likely a meteor Surely if it was on a long exposure the stars would also have a 'tail' as the earth turns on its axis and the stars remain fixed. Not in 10 seconds, nor 30 seconds for that matter. So we agree it wasn't a l...
