Sadly, this has now closed again.
Really? I'm surprised as the Armenian chap who runs it is a neighbour of mine and he hasn't said anything. Also, TripAdvisor have reviews which are very recent.

Re: Drug deaths in Scotland overtake alcohol-related deaths for the. first time

Having lived in Scotland for many years, near Dundee, this doesn't come as a total surprise to me.

What is most interesting is that those perennial paragons of virtue, the Scandinavian countries, occupy four of the top nine places.

Or try a local pharmacy for advice/ medication first....they are very good....
Excellent suggestion. Pharmacists are greatly under-rated in most countries. They are there to take the strain off GP's.

P&L. Got your PM, thanks. My point was you should be restrained in making comments. Only a few days ago, Dominic & trevnhil were highlighting the dangers of commenting adversely on the site about a company.

Think it is ice in the atmosphere surrounding the moon. Please correct me if I am wrong.
It's caused by ice crystals in the Earth's atmosphere.

I would recommend St Giorgio’s chloraka, or the Village Inn, Kissonerga both have plenty of comfortable seating and multiple screens.
Thanks for giving me those two places for me to remember never to go there

Re: Legal advice - communal property

We have been running our complex to everyone's satisfaction for 6 years now, but this week one of the owners insists that we need to get legal advice as we are not running the committee according the law and that we must take legal advice. Fine, as long as the costs are shared between all of the ow...

£149.99 at the moment on Amazon. I reckon a decent Philips shaver lasts at least 5 years, so that's not bad value. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-Electric-Precision-Trimmer-Bathroom/dp/B01N55J31Y/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1778SVKNHIH0J&keywords=philips+9000+series+shaver&qid=1562913057&s=gateway&sprefix=phi...

Re: Electric Razor

Over the years, I've been a Philips devotee, and nothing I do changes that. I have fairly stiff stubble (not quite Desperate Dan stuff). I have tried Braun (useless batteries), Remington (useless, full stop) and Lidl (left me with a rash). I always go back to Philips, having regretted even consideri...

Moreover, 476 pharmacies, 146 labs and 15 X ray centres have signed on.

Re: Peyia police investigating burglary of holiday villa

Why do people take so much money on holiday? It's not as if there aren't ATMs and banks here and many cards offer good exchange rates. Quite. 3000 sterling is just what was left in the villa when they were out. Add that to what they had with them and it's a staggering amount of cash to take abroad....

Re: Halloumi burgers added to Burger King menus in the UK

I've never seen the appeal of halloumi. I've tried it from both ends of the cost spectrum, from the ultra cheap to the expensive, and also tried it in the north, and can't see what the fuss is about. Each to their own, I suppose. As for the Swedes, they say the stuff is unhealthy: https://cyprus-mai...

Re: Campaign to promote Paphos as domestic tourism destination

There are even some who bring all their washing from home to use the electricity and water in their apartments instead of run up their home bills... I kid you not! I find that very hard to believe. How do they get all that laundry and the clothes, shoes etc. that they use on holiday in one allowanc...
