Back to the OP.... I was surprised earlier this week to see Lidl selling eggs imported from Greece (and packaged/laid in late May according to the stamp). I would have thought that Cyprus could produce enough fresh eggs for its own population.

I've lived in Kamares for 25 years, and until a few years ago, there used to be a gully near the building which overflowed across the road in the rainy season. Surely that should have rung alarm bells somewhere before the go-ahead for building was given.

Looks promising. Trip Advisor says it's Turkish, which would be unusual, but good - I find Turkish food more "moist" that Greek. Good recommendation, either way!
