Re: Confused dot com

Well apart from not being able to guess any other reason for his approach to Brexit, his idea of tax free zones/ports are seen as a money laundering threat by the EU. Many of his contributors could come under scrutiny, including the Barclay brothers for whom he writes Not conclusive I know but I'm ...

Re: Confused dot com

Jimward, so its fake news then! You have NO evidence and just making up things that you think will discredit the leavers So, in reply to a post I made you believe Boris is merely being altruistic in his pursuit of leave at all costs on 31 Oct. No other agenda at all? No what I am saying is that you...

Re: Confused dot com

Jackie I think we will leave, but only with a deal. The country is split and only a deal will accommodate the Remainers AND the Leavers. Boris doesn't want a deal as he is desperate to get out completely before the Money Laundering laws come in in Jan 2020. Farage and others are the same. There is ...

Outasite Just a couple of points and not meaning to be pedantic but with reference to Yellowhammer. The initial version leaked to the press had a title "Base Case Scenario" wereas the version released had a title "Worst Case Scenario", same document different titles. A base case scenario basically m...

Outasite I don't believe anyone on the site gets any satisfaction in the state of play, least of all HIC whos business wil be adversely affect by Brexit on a day to day basis. It's very frustrating when you ask every day the reasoning why people voted leave and very few can provide a constructive an...

Re: Confused dot com

When I was a young lad I used to deliver milk before school and they had several different types; sterilized, fresh, Channel Island and TT which stood for Tuberculin Tested so they must have tested for it in the early sixties.
Nowadays milk sold to the public is pasteurized.

Jackie

I have no idea.
A quick read up on it suggests there's no scientific evidence that badger culling works and any benefits are minimal.
Possibly just a case that Defra are seen to be doing something.

Jim Yes he has, and so did I, some cattle which having been TB tested, and found to be clear, then go on to develop TB. Too late when they have been purchased by another farmer. Jackie If as Devil stated there's no guarantee the vaccine will work it's a bit pointless relying on it don't you think? ...

Re: Does David Cameron regret the referendum...

Jon I think the quote by Abraham Lincoln really covers it and goes something like; " You can fool some of the people all of the time and you can fool all of the people some of the time but you can not fool all of the people all of the time. LB Some politicians share your view  Jim B Not being 100% effective is no reason not to use it, we use it on people. Which vaccines are 100 % effective ? Devil, yes I agree that tests for TB in cattle are only appox. 50% reliable, maybe time to improve those. Jackie I think Devil explained the...

Jackie The white paper also statès the vaccine isn't 100% effective that's the reasoning behind the reluctance of both the UK and the EU to use it, not bloody mindedness. Which EU Laws adversely affect your living standards; I can list several off the top of my head that actually improved both my pe...

As with Brexit, the voters were given a choice of put up with it,..........
Jackie
Please would you clarify what you "put up with", did it keep you awake at night; was it sovereignty, immigration, the European Court?

I don't assume anything, I can read clearly what is written. Try re-reading your posts.

It's a pity you don't suffer my fears, there's every possibility the country wouldn't be in the mess it's in if you did.
