Re: Trump's Latest Pearls of Wisdom

I watched it Lloyd and it showed what a pair of chancers they are. If they were in the private sector they wouldn't last five minutes. As I've said many times, you reap what you sow.

Galexinda
Thanks for the information; our daughter is working in the UK and a card like the P Card would be ideal.
Again many thanks.

Re: Law allows Brits to live in Cyprus in case of no deal Brexit

It's up to the 27 members of the EU to decide, Cyprus is just one of them. There are nearly three times the number of Irish in the UK as there are Cypriots and the same goes for Polish people so we will have to wait and see if Cypriots are given favourable treatment.

It only comes into law if it's reciprocated by the UK government so just clarification of the EU position.

Re: Estate agents & documentation required.

The Estate Agents just add their 5% to the selling price so if you want say €100,000 for your property they put it on the market for €105,000. Doesn't cost the seller anything, it's the buyer who pays the Agents fees.

Re: Dangerous Tala complex still in place despite demolition order

I know it may sound daft but knocking something down like that has to be thought through and planned otherwise the demolition crew could be killed or injured. I've seen the company I worked for demolish structures and all kinds of risk assessments have to be developed before we could do the work.

Re: Mosaic v liners

The construction of a lined pool and tiled pool are different. The screed bottom of a lined pool is usually not tied in to the walls so there is movement between the two. On a tiled pool the base is usually tied in with re-bar to the walls and the whole structure moves as one. Tiling a pool construc...

Hello Max

Yes, we bought it in Evzona on the road to Chlorakas. It really works, no power supply, just a special material that is cool to the touch.

We had Rolls A/C units that had seen better days and used the old Freon gas which was being phased out. Did the rounds of all the suppliers mentioned and found Green Air the most competitively priced with LG units provided. They came, changed them out in one day and took the old ones away I had our ...

Re: MPs use House Brexit debate to push ouster of British bases

Varky Try reading "The Cyprus Conspiracy" by Brendan O'Mally and Ian Craig; you can buy it on Amazon. The British were going to hang on to the SBA's at the time, come what may. You could also try reading "Glfkos Clerides, The Path of a Country" by Niyazi Kizilyurek; also available on Amazon. No coun...
