I go to the Evangelismos. There is a Specialist comes every Wednesday and a laboratory in the hospital.

Re: The Brits hurrying to become German citizens
Visas for the EU countries has been raised by of all people the EU; oh but you don't Google do you Geoffreys. I think it's a bit rich you calling me a Luddite as it's you who wants to live in the past, not me. The procedures of the past are just that, in the past and surely you must remember the ent...

Why Not? If you qualify for a Cypriot passport you can have dual citizenship. Also after the Brexit the Cypriot passport will be a stronger passport than the British passport. Presently the British passport can get you into 173 countries without a Visa and Cyprus 159.

Most of the companies in the FT 100 index are foreign and deal in dollars, that's why it's booming.

Re: Lush may invest abroad due to Brexit
Immigrants, especially the skilled trades do not work for less, they are paid the same as their British counterparts; there are national agreements with specific hourly rates that I was alway paid. Immigrants working for less are generally unskilled and doing jobs you can't get Brits on Social Secur...

I read in the Mail it was due to lack of maintenance rather than actual sabotage. I was there a week ago to pick up a car and we were in and out in just over an hour which I thought was pretty good service.

Re: Lush may invest abroad due to Brexit
Why do people insist on saying Brexit will cause skills shortagest . Britain is just taking back control of its boarders . If people from abroad have the skills needed they will be allowed in , to say other wise is rubbish . Have you ever applied for a works visa for the UK, many of my works collea...

Re: Scottish independence: Nicola Sturgeon to seek second referendum - bbc
There is a strong whiff of hypocrisy about; love her or hate her Sturgeon (unlike May) was voted in to power by the people. The mandate for staying in the EU was 62% to 38% in Scotland and only 52% to 48% to leave in England so the people have spoken (in Scotland) as we keep getting rammed down our ...

Re: BREXIT - a different opinion (from Malta)
As far as the main science initiatives go, most of the 'European' ones are subject to separate funding by member states and are not funded by the EU and more often than not contain several members who are not in the EU but are considered European geographically, or in terms of shared values and ass...

We are a key player because of where we are today, not where we will be tomorrow and it's more than just about finance; it's the Sciences, the Arts and Education. Some of the top academics are leaving the UK and moving to other EU countries, there is a brain of top scientists that have started to le...

It's laughable that anything negative about Brexit is scaremongering or fake news; we shall see.kingfisher wrote: ↑Sun Mar 12, 2017 1:22 pm The "leaked" document referred to was compiled nearly a year ago by Treasury civil servants.
Nothing more than pre-referendum scaremongering, i.e., old fake news.

This is a leaked document from the Treasury; of course the government is scaremongering itself now.

Hudswell It's called Democracy in Action; if you believe everything this Government says then you only have to look at yesterdays budget when they increased the National Insurance Premiums against their promises in their last manifesto. I personally wouldn't believe any of their promises and would s...

Re: House Of Lords
I thought everyone in the UK (including Lords, Bishops, Generals and Admirals) have the Democratic right to vote how they wished and shouldn't be coerced or forced to vote for something they don't believe in; that is what happens in Russia and many on here appear to be quite happy to where the count...

So what all the critics of Heseltine and the HOL are saying is that you can exercise your democratic rights as long as you vote for the government; sounds a bit like Russia.

Re: House Of Lords
The EU and UK cannot start negotiations on Brexit terms until Article 50 is actioned; it is very simple in that the EU is following the rules and the UK Government want to do it their own way as usual.
