Re: Are airlines tracking YOU?

Most websites are tracking you all the time unless you take the trouble (& difficulty) to opt out via their privacy notice.

Checked with Skyscanner return flight to Tallin in Estonia Direct over Xmas. Price showed €120 with Ryanair. On the Ryanair website the basic was priced €75

You can hold Passports for both countries; UK & Cyprus.

Re: Best Airline For The Disabled

Buit is it not the airport each end rather than the airline which is responsible for conveying, and looking after, people with disabilities? Absolutely. Larnaca is better set up than Pafos. At Pafos the Disability check-in/waiting area is in itself disabled! Heathrow terminal 5 I found excellent. A...

Re: EU Commission ask Cyprus to fully comply with EU rules to protect consumers from unfair contract terms

2013 & it's now 2019 and nothing has changed, so don't hold your breath! In all likelihood there's too much vested interest by those at the top.

Re: Two and a half years for man who killed Briton in hit-and-run

I hope the AG raises this lenient sentence as an injustice & seeks to have it reviewed, as he has done on a previous occasion.

Re: Two and a half years for man who killed Briton in hit-and-run

Two & a half years sentence, but with good behaviour, will be out much sooner! Where was the justice> That sentence was utterly disgraceful and did not in any way fit the crime and the death of an innocent man! :x

Cyprus Buses

Changes are afoot for Cyprus buses. https://cyprus-mail.com/2019/07/16/back-to-drawing-board-for-public-transport/ If you are over 63 years of age and habitually reside in Cyprus, people are entitled to get a 'blue' Social Card that will give them 50% off the fare. This is both local and inter-city ...

Refugees on SBA allowed to leave

They were marooned on a British military base in Cyprus for 20 years, but now five refugee families are finally being resettled in the UK. Their arrival here will end the long-running dispute with the British government, which initially refused to accept them after they were rescued by the RAF from ...

Re: Law allows Brits to live in Cyprus in case of no deal Brexit

WHL, you should provide a source for your information & that ought to settle this squabble. There's no squabble, there are not three hundred thousand cypriot citizens living in the UK, they are British Citizens who are of cypriot decent , the vast majority of which were born and raised in the UK, i...

Many years ago, one tabloid headline read "Queen to have Fergie for Christmas lunch".
My comment was "And the rest of us have turkey for our lunch".
I thought Fergie was the 'Royal Turkey'

Re: Law allows Brits to live in Cyprus in case of no deal Brexit

Does this mean that people who have been applying for MEU(1) or MEU(3) have been wasting their times and money? With respect Mike, that's as daft as asking if you wasted money insuring your home or car, but did not make a claim during the insured period  I'd rather have a belt and bra...

The rain was so welcome. It both cleaned the everything and cleared the stuffiness of the past few weeks. Nice cool (26deg) morning air. :)
