I totally agree with Catherine and Irena on the loss of the 'tree'. Can anyone actually say how old it was? The Old Town had character and old world charm which in my view has been lost. Yes tourist will know no difference and hopefully will keep coming. Great blog!

Last week we went to 'Haris Bar & Restaurant' in Peyia. Sunday Roast, choice of 3 meats, fresh veg. Cooked beautifully and plenty of it. With dessert and drinks the whole bill came to less than E60! The place has recently been refurbished and the outside seating area now has sliding doors/window...

A ginger/white 'kitten' tom cat adopted us a few weeks ago. He is so affectionate we hate to see him go but he has to! We return to the UK shortly and cannot bear to 'leave him to the elements'.
