It might be quite a while before he comes back to you on that OhSusana; good news on Brexit is hard to find. Certainly I ain't seen any  Maybe - but - I have suddenly thought of one thing. St Teresa has made a trade agreement with Lesotho! Yes. Wow. Let us rejoice and be glad. Haec Dies. Appar...

... but still nobody knows …………… ! Shane You're beginning to sound like Dominic's political statement - Neither side knows what the end .... Nobody else knows what the end result will be either. Now, accept the above... The pound stands today at 1.11. I would humbly suggest that a few million peopl...

Looking at the Thomas Cook summer timetable for 2019 https://www.thomascookairlines.com/en/generated/timetable_S2019.pdf it looks like several routes have been cut. But I haven't seen an official announcement. Only Bristol, LGW, East Midlands and Manchester now seem to be listed. Just looking at the...

Re: Is the EU ready for turning ?
Actually the pound isn't holding up that well... I take your point, however I expected it to be rather lower than it is now. Nevertheless, I expect it to reach an all-time-low (over a two year period - so not just a "little spike" - ) against the euro very shortly. Against the dollar - we...

I'm guessing she means the pips! They're delicious in salads and some savoury dishes, we're lucky to have some fab trees that bear lots of fruit so it can get overwhelming! Well done. And lucky you. )) Pomegranate seeds are incredibly healthy. Anti-cancer properties, apparently. I must admit I find...

I'm amazed how well the pound is holding up, given this article in the FAZ. 1.116. By the way, HIC, what are you doing online at the same time as me?! I'm watching. And reading.
Michel Barnier has said he is “strongly opposed” to the prime minister’s Chequers proposals on future trade, as he advised European car manufacturers that they will have to use fewer British-made parts after Brexit.
Another bit quoting from the FAZ article. Today.

No. The EU is not ready for turning. FAZ today - (interview with Barnier, in which he certainly did not hold back) . We'll see how it goes but bringing the 1.40E is unhelpful. 1.25 as a comparison might be better. Off topic but can someone remind me how to change £s to Euros on a UK keyboard please? :D  Further to Dominic's post, if you are looking to change pounds to euros and v.v. - Just go to www.xe.com ...

OhSusana- Your place or mine. Jon You do, however, remind me of one true story.... I was travelling to Toronto by car with a friend. We were in Upstate New York somewhere - near Niagara Falls. OhSusana- Your place or mine. Jon  I don't go that way, but there are people on this forum who do. And Brexiteers to boot. That could heighten your experience. If you need help, send me a PM and I'll send you a name or two. Or maybe they'll contact you, knowing your interest in such things. ))
