Re: US Syrian Air Strikes
Hi my understanding is that the S400 system deployed by Russia in Syria automatically locks on to any incoming threats at up to 250 miles no matter how high they fly so therefore if activated would have destroyed most of the incoming US cruise missiles before they hit the target. Roger

Re: US Syrian Air Strikes
What worries me on this attack is that Russia new it was coming and had the capability of shooting down cruise missiles via their s400 missile defence systems so why didn't they. Putin never does anything unless there is a reason and eventual advantage to Russia - maybe one conspiracy theory could b...

Re: 60 years old tomorrow!
rogertcb- The EU "works" by spreading wealth and prosperity not from the bottom up but top down, and also by printing trillions of euros. The UK must have put hundreds of billions into the EU directly and indirectly over the past decades. Bugger all to show for it. You are wrong as the lo...

Re: 60 years old tomorrow!

I ...

Re: Well that will get the whole country behind Brexit!
Just going back to Tony Blair I was one of the minority at the time opposing the Iraq war but I do see parallels with Brexit. The right wing and Murdoch press egging Blair on, the will of the people polling showed significant majority for war, misleading information on both sides, what do experts kn...

Re: Well that will get the whole country behind Brexit!
