Prompted by the other movie thread, here is an interesting podcast about a forthcoming movie set in Cyprus
This isn't a begging post btw, they have reached the kickstarter mentioned.
Hope this is okay to post

Re: Village Rubbish
Yes good points - the council must know of the situation. Ive noticed in other similar rubbish eyesore places that the skips disappear (there was one near Vikla)
I sometimes wonder why certain skips end up like it - edge of village / quiet?

Re: Village Rubbish
There's a mess there fairly regularly I notice, as it's on our way home, but particularly bad today. Have you complained to the Polemi muchtar? I don't live in Polemi and don't have rubbish collected but have several 'favourite' skips that I use depending on where I'm going. Or the closest if the ru...

Re: Bed Linen
Do any of these shops, or any others, do top sheets which are soft and very light cotton (not crisp cotton)? With our summers I want something as light as possible, and since sheets tend to come in wrapped packages it's hard to tell the feel of them in advance. Top sheets with a pattern would also ...

Lovely photos of a beautiful area.
I read in a Sheila Hawkins book that the cross commemorates a scuba diver who lost his life there.

Re: Central Paphos and Old Town
I think they have done a great job, with the roundabouts at Lidl and Papantonios, the junctions with the traffic lights and the filter lanes for turning right. Took a while but definitely worth it in the end. The bus station is looking fab too. Hopefully the businessess along the way will resume goo...

Re: Ministry cuts time for AZ second doses from 12 to 8 weeks
Studies have indicated that a gap of 12 weeks between AZ doses improves the vaccine efficacy though, so I'm not sure I understand why Cyprus has made this decision to be honest.

Re: Irrigation
Thanks all. It's a matter of common sense really I think. Irrigation is on now twice a week for 8 minutes. I have young citrus trees, bedding plants recently put in, succulents on a terrace and shrubs so it's a bit of trial and error! Concerning citrus trees: they grow best if you form a tree pit, ...
