Re: Pigeons nesting under net metering solar panels
Had a huge problem with the flying rats, which included the dreaded breading during covid. Even after netting the solar panel the rat moved to the neighbours roof but came back every day and continues to poop everywhere. Even when the neighbour got their roof the netted, the buggers still came back ...

Re: Removal of 3.7m sat dish
Mine was removed by a passing scrap man, I spotted him removing metal scrap left by the bins.
He did it for free.
Warning, If your dish is fixed to a flat roof, make sure they only take the dish and not the frame. removal of the frame will will result in additional costs repairing the roof

Re: External Wall Problem
I had the same problem and spent a small fortune on special paints and treatments but none of them are a permanent fix. As Lincold said it's salt evervessance and it's due to the poor quality concrete used here. We got round it by fitting facing bricks one metre high right round the house and that ...

Re: Post Brexit, British permanent residents in Cyprus cannot vote, stand in local elections
I think it was only Cyprus's entry into the EU, which allowed all EU citizens to vote. Thanks for reply and clarification from Jim B So brits are back to pre 2004 voting right in Cyprus, which is the equivalent of 3 elections, that said, I wonder how many brits who brought their property after 2004...

Re: Congratulation England
It was an excellent result on another poor performance, for 75 minutes, by England. Looked like heading for penalties. Grealish made a difference. Within minutes, Sky News site had "The route to the Final for England" This is the problem, the MSM bigging things up and turning players' hea...

. I really don't think that the pandemic is the consideration here anymore. Jackie Best ask the people of Hounslow, the midlands, the north west etc, where this new variant is multiplying at an incredible rate if the pandemic is over? 6,300 new cases yesterday On the Other Hand - Maybe the pandemic...

Re: Easy jet flights
I was booked to fly out from Bristol to Paphos on the 5th June but have moved my flight forward as the information from easyJet is not clear. They are still taking bookings for a flight from Bristol to Paphos for this Saturday so there appears to be no consistency on the flight programme. Terry Is ...

Re: UK products
Maybe there is a entrepreneur in Paphos, who will open UK food shop for those wanting UK products.
My personal favorite are Happy Shopper products, where you can clearly see the price charged in the UK, love the thought of paying 1euro for a 20 pence tin of baked beans

Umm
A union reps version of events, cannot find anyone else saying the same thing, "not even sky news"
Now T3 is for red list countries, that particular piece of scare mongering has been put to bed

"How the council can claim that it is not their problem amazes me"
Its to do with the council itself being a closed shop when it come to all things Peyia. The masons are more open to outsiders than Peyia council is to expats.

The is an old boy who drives a yellow JCB and lives in Peyia, he is normally pottering around Peyia doing odd jobs and work for the municipal.
If you drop him ~50 euros he will scrap away a bucket width of the offending weed, shrubs etc. and will dump it in the middle of the the overgrowth
