As per Lofos Jan’s response the answer is no. You need to have an MEU3, pay Cyprus Social Insurance or have an S1 if you only have am MEU1. The worst thing thing is you still have to pay the GESY charge of 2.65% of your worldwide income as well.

When you book an appointment online do you get a text or email message (having input the details) when you book an appointment ? When I tried for my age group, I got nothing back so I am not even sure whether I actually have a valid appointment or not

I had mine removed at the Iasis a few years ago as well. Again no problems since it was removed. Mine was badly infected and resulted in a week in hospital initially to bring the infection under control.
