Re: Anyone NOT having the vaccine?

I would rephrase the question, why would anyone have the vaccine? It doesn't stop you catching the virus, it doesn't stop you passing it on , so therefore it gives a false sense of security that you are 'safe' once you have had it. With mutation of the virus, you will need another dose in a few mon...

Re: Anyone NOT having the vaccine?

I will not be having the vaccine My reasons are: None of the vaccines are fully approved but rather fast tracked for Emergency Use Authorisation thus bypassing long term trials, In fact they are 'rolling trials' - meaning they are been given to the public before phase 3 trials end (in 2023_ vaccine...

Re: Cyprus marks 66 years of independence from British colonial rule

Agreed, WHL, if you look at the Irish history, when it became apparent that Britain could not control things enough, they 'planted' people, initially from England, as landowners and prevented the native population of opening land under 500' and so forced planting crops on difficult land, hence the p...

Re: Cyprus marks 66 years of independence from British colonial rule

In this case does your view stand up? Or were you thinking about the whole period of Colonial Government? Did the British try to divide and conquer in Cyprus? They may have gone about some things, such as establishing separate schools for Greek and Turkish children, instead of trying to integrate t...

Re: EU medicines agency backs Astra Zeneca jab

Probably hundreds of thousands.... It is a joke. France is already sitting at less than 40% take-up for the vaccine - from the country that proportionally used more pharmaceuticals than any other EU country! Spain vaccinated the under 55 key workers first - then the care home residents and only now ...

Re: A Coming Covid Catastrophe - mass vaccination

If you out 10 ‘experts’ in a room, your will get 11 different theories.,… What we need, is expert groups who recommend to politicians and their business civil servant experts. You need to question every aspect of a conclusion, as experts are not great at looking outside the box - I.e. considering wh...

HIC - indeed, all fishing communities were duped but he promise of extra catch quotas and no restrictions on trade - the reality is totally different. They now cannot sell their produce in Europe, because they have to conform to strict measures they never prepared for. Almost to a person, they voted...
