Re: UK Fraud - the splinter thread

Boris has refused a public inquiry into the handling of Covid - instead offering a Tory ex Judge to sit in governance of his party. There are many diagrams showing the links between the various Tory ministers and companies awarded contract unjustifiably. Too large for the maximum size of photo on he...

Well, looks like he has finally accepted the loss... announced his people will no talk to Biden, There is no doubt that many countries - and I’d include Cyprus - like S Korea, Taiwan, New Zealand and more, have saved 10’s of thousands of lives by hard approaches and efficient tracing. The UK is stil...

Re: The State of Trump

There is solid evidence of photoshopped GOP pictures of the ‘million’ - it WS estimated to be less than 12,000 at the MAGA rally - one of whom was Trump himself - unable to show any form of humility at his embarrassing defeat by over 5million votes

Re: Brexit Economic Assessment - in. Politics

I am sure anyone living in Cyprus and looking at H&S in Cyprus, compared to the UK, will see a vast difference. I have been to Spain a lot and similarly, much more lax H&S. There are many more examples of how the EU can have Directives interpreted and administered differently in different countries....

Re: Well, What about that then?

That’s IF we define a Virus as being Alive - then we can kill it.... many regard them as NOT being alive... However, that’s pedantic. Using the mouthwash at the very least, can help - just as washing hands can I know a surgeon who has done this for some time and also cleans his nasal passages with i...

Re: Covid 19 vaccination

It would help if we knew the total number of people who take part in each stage of every trial and assume that at this level it is a ''double blind study''. I have seen adverts for face creams on TV which state that after 4 weeks 80 percent of women find their wrinkles are not so prominent - of a t...

Re: Covid 19 vaccination

I wouldn't raise hopes of a vaccine too soon anyway. So far, only one solution looks to be successful with maybe another 3 or 4 possibles. However, in the last 9 months, the world has not increased it's vaccine manufacturing capability so demand will outstrip supply for a long time.

Incidentally, we went back to the UK last Christmas and had very high temps etc + felt crap. We thought we had it, but my wife has since had an antibody test and there was no sign. The antibody tests are largely a waste of time. Most people who exhibit antibodies, only do so for a relatively short ...

Re: Brexit Economic Assessment - in. Politics

Devil – Pointless taking this any further you have well and truly derailed this thread onto appointments – My point was we are dictated to by the EU on every single issue in life and they get away with anything they want no matter what, And here in the UK we just have to put up with it. Once we are...

Re: Brexit Economic Assessment - in. Politics

Unless you were middle-class or above, Britain was never “Great” in the terms people expected. The working classes were treated appallingly and true poverty didn’t disappear until the 60’s. If you were in the lower 1/3rd of England, you also had prospects denied to the rest of the UK. Until general ...
