Re: Confused dot com

Nigel Farage walks into a pub and says, "I'll have a pint of beer, please." The barman pours a pint, then throws it all over Farage. 'What did you do that for?' says Farage. 'Because you're in a metaphor which illustrates the stupidity of asking for something, but not stipulating how you wanted it d...

They promised us that it was a once-only vote.
No, some did. They also promised us £350m a week to the NHS, no downsides and lots of positives....

Why not, that's what he's supposed to do. It's called democracy.
Just as Sovereignty that people wanted, is being exercised by parliament and the judiciary. Just as democracy isn’t a once-only vote.

The yellowhammer report, which Gove claimed was worst case, has been proven to be Base case, and Gove had to apologise for lying.

Re: What a waste of tax payers money ?

Boris could have accepted the ruling of the British Court in edinburgh, but had the right to appeal through the Supreme Court. What’s next, the European court of Justice?

I have no proof Aaron Banks received Russian money to fund Leave, but I’ll allege he did. I have no proof that George Osborne sold his family business through the Virgin Islands to save tax, but I’ll allege he did. I have no proof that Boris is a racist, but I’ll allege he is. I have proof that Bori...

Jackie I think we will leave, but only with a deal. The country is split and only a deal will accommodate the Remainers AND the Leavers. Boris doesn't want a deal as he is desperate to get out completely before the Money Laundering laws come in in Jan 2020. Farage and others are the same. There is ...

Re: Confused dot com

I see Boris made the excuse that nothing is written down about his idea of a ‘deal’ as he doesn’t want it leaked..... as Lloyd says, he doesn’t want a deal, he wants out before money-laundering laws affect him and his super-rich friends

Re: Confused dot com

We have diverged. Jackie stated the EU prevents testing of cattle for TB, which has been shown, like all the other EU ‘laws’ to be scaremongering. Sadly, there is no easy solution. Bit it does show how the MSM in the UK convinced so many people that EU bad, UK good. I heard on LBC today, people stat...

Re: Cyprus has fifth most expensive bread, cereals in EU28 (table)

I Think the supermarkets in the UK, particularly Tescos, have ravaged the retail economy and perpetrated a drive for cheap at the cost of quality and taste. Fat, round tomatoes that taste of nothing. Bread that’s bland and last for a week, soft and springy, but tastes awful and is bad for you. An ex...

Re: Confused dot com

In any business which imports and exports, a No Deal will have a BIG impact, particularly if that business is located in the UK. One of our significant manufacturers is located in the UK and we anticipate their prices to us rising by at least 10% in the event of a no-deal: 6% Import Duty in Cyprus ...

Hedge funds are morally wrong to be able to ‘bet’ on businesses failing, currencies depreciating and shares collapsing. It allows consortia (illegal) of them to cooperate in affecting prices. However, we know it happens and it is detrimental to everyone but themselves.

Re: Confused dot com

The UK created more laws within the EU, than any other country. They could also choose not to impose some laws. I have yet to hear of a law from the EU that anyone can tell me is bad.... Anyway, another matter. We keep hearing from Gove ( another weedling liar) that we are prepared.... I have a a co...
