Re: Plastic lumber for fencing

In the UK now, opposite decking, as it's called, is about 3 x the price of wooden decking, but as stated requires no maintenance, looks great and isn't affected by the sun.

Percentages

This has just blown my mind

I never knew this - Percentages are reversible
8% of 25 is the same as 25% of 8 except one is easier to calculate

Works across the board

Re: You couldn't make it up.

Merseyside were later rly the only area in the UK still receiving support for severe deprivation, from the EU. Totally ignored by the Tories for decades. It was a shithole and has been pulled up by it’s shoestrings to regain it’s pride.

Re: British woman returns to Cyprus, arrested for failing to pay old hotel bill

Emgee, methinks youre digging deeper. This ladies name and full details would have been in the computer system and when her passport was scanned at entry, would Have flagged her up as a ‘known felon’ who had run, rather than pay a bill - and presumably ignored requests sent to the UK for her to pay....

From the above, it would appear that I can apply for residency as a property owner even though I don’t permanently reside?

Re: Remainers vow never to use Brexit coins

I’ve give it out to leavers and taken it back. Once or twice I did overstep the mark and apologised for it. Once or twice others did the same to me. I have been called racist and other slurs on here and never ran screaming about it - asked for apologies I didn’t get. The Internet is a goldmine for k...

Re: Amazon Post Brexit

This all supposes that any terms issued by Brussels are reasonable. I would have my doubts as there seems to be a drive to not make it easy for any other Member vassal to consider leaving. The Greenwich Speech outlined the PM's stance with regards to both sides being reasonable. Well, Boris has alr...

A lot more than what’s there now - twice the debt after 8 years of austerity! THAT WORKED WELL! (For the rich only)

Re: Amazon Post Brexit

Lloyd, I 100% believe that Boris has zero intention of a trade deal on reasonable terms and will throw most of us under his big red bus. The rich always benefit from austerity and strife and will do in a no-deal situation, while Nigel from Scunthorpe loses his job, house and car (then wife and sanit...

Re: Remainers vow never to use Brexit coins

Thatcher sold off all nationalised industries (almost) plus most oil and gas reserves that could have kept the UK in oil and gas for many decades. She filled the treasury to keep her policies going - but she is regarded as untouchable! She raped the country to fund the finance centre of London and c...

Re: You couldn't make it up.

I totally agree with you regarding Morroco but the difference is Morroco does not have the power to veto EU trade talks unlike Spain. We will see whether or not the British Government are prepared to sacrifice the few (Gibraltar) for the many (the UK) like they sacrificed the DUP. What do you propo...
