Thanks Trev

I have to get mine a little later in the year and am quite anxious about it as not been through this process before.

Re: The 70 year driving licence

Could I have some clarification please? Do you need to go to CSC first to collect the forms? I thought this was what you had to do but from reading these posts not necessary. Can you visit a doctor privately even if they are also registered with Gesy and you are not registered with the doctor under ...

Re: Taxisnet return for 2019

Before going into the dentist this week I went over to the tax office to see if there was a notice on the door about making appointments. There was and the number to ring is 26804370. However, if you go round to the back entrance there are people waiting to go in and some going in and out. There is ...

When I checked yesterday it said username and password invalid. I'm sure they were correct. Any one else had this?

Re: Shopping Experience Today

Went to Paps in Chlorakas just after 8.30am today. Sanitiser and gloves on offer outside. It very soon felt packed and not everyone over 60, although they could have had other health conditions. Only 2 tills open and one of those for several staff fulfilling orders. Couldn't buy several of the items...

Re: Anybody waiting for a parcel?

I used this service in January having not had any post for five weeks. Didn't have a tracking number. Got a phone call back eventually, after having sent two emails. Post turned up next day.

I've posted a reply twice and it has disappeared!

Anyway, thank you for your replies. It seems that non delivery is not everywhere.

Have you had any post delivered?

Here in Chlorakas we haven't had any post delivered for 2-3 weeks. I have been waiting for some documents posted in Paphos three weeks ago and still no sign of them. In fact I don't think a post person has been by all this week. Speaking to neighbours earlier today they haven't had any post either a...

Re: The Repair shop

The BBC might pay something or nothing. After all, it's good free advertising for the businesses. People must go there and pay the full asking price for repairs. It is a real place, isn't it?

Re: Free healthcare comes at a price

Thank yoiu Mrblobby

Like the poster in the link I am not sure if it applies to everyone with a S1 if it wasn't submitted with GESY application. Certainly worth a try though.

Re: Free healthcare comes at a price

Some UK expat pensioners applied for GESY with a MEU3 and were not asked to provide confirmation of a S1. How can they get an exemption certificate, I wonder?

Re: GESY AND S1

I haven't received an email like this either on the GESY website or by normal email even though I queried this some time ago with GESY. As I have mentioned previously my bank has already taken a contribution to GESY on bank interest, so what are we supposed to do with this confirmation letter, I won...

Re: first experience visiting GESY doctor

I phoned this morning for my first appointment with the GESY doctor with whom I am registered. First available appointment June 26th! So now I am wondering, presuming there are some private doctors left in Pafos, who are they? Are the GESY doctors who were private still accessible with a private app...
