Re: Village Community Charge

When we lived in Tala we paid a few euro a year local IPT tax. That particular one was for people who had their deeds. which i believe has now been scrapped but not sure, since we moved. I asked here when we first moved into this village i was told they don't charge it. We just pay the local council...

Can someone explain why a refund?
because when we bought we did not have title deeds. When we got the deeds we were charged developers rates on the property.@9%. So we had to apply for a refund as residential owner. Still waiting!

Re: Would anyone recommend using sold on Cyprus for buying a property

We used them last year, they sold our property, despite not having as many viewings as another company that we also signed up with. Very good firm. My only reservation was at the time to pay their fees, we had to go to the bank, because they didn't have a card machine. Perhaps they have one now thou...

Went to Lidl T of the King's yesterday, Sanitizer and gloves readily available at the entrance, more Sanitizer dotted around the store...... That certainly isn't the case today at the other one, saw no sanitizer or gloves at entrance. Just got back from there and it's very busy and by far the major...

Try Elean on the sea front. They have a factory at the second shop just up from the main one. He might be able to help. Doubt you would need a goldsmith.

Looks like even going to Gwenny doesn't help either. We were really thinking of going to her ( perhaps not now!!) It is like we were told by a certain person to go to some one to get our IPT tax back. Went to him nearly 2years ago and still waiting for our money. We paid him a lot of money for doin...

Anyone of a certain age doesn't forget, but, how far back do you want to go? Truthfully, it does'nt have much relevance to the younger generation, whether we like it or not! Do we commemorate the battle of waterloo, or of Bannockburn? No, life goes on, yesterday has gone, tomorrow never comes, there...

Paphiakos charity has a book exchange and charity shop in Tremithousa. Perhaps contact Sue on 99771763.
Heading up the Polis road at the Premier Outlet traffic lights turn left into Tremithousa and the shop is about 500 meters on the right opposite the school.
It is also open!
