Re: Urgent pleas to expand Paphos airport
We all know what causes this overcrowding at the airport, but improving things is difficult as all the hotels have change over days on Wed and at the weekend. And the tour agents send their clients out here to the hotels on these days. Its a pity though that these holiday flights can't be staggered ...

Re: Knee problems.
I also have Stomach issues with Voltarin, but then a Pharmacist suggested Counterpain which is also in a cream form. It has different ingredients but I find it just as effective as Voltarin for coping with a painful knee. Plus it has no side effects on me.

Re: Knee problems.
I have knee problems too, mine locks sometimes and can be very painful. But I keep it mobile by seeing an excellent osteopath, plus doing targeted exercises in a gym which help to strengthen the leg muscles to support the knee. You can have very occasional cortisone injections, by seeing an orthoped...

Re: Paphos Coast Path Missing Link - Part 2
It was an interesting video.Thanks. Those of us living in that area (Chloraka, Kissonerga and probably Coral Bay who walk regularly were aware of the gap in the coastal path., between Lempa, Chloraka and Coral Bay. Best to be patient and continue to wait.. Best to keep off those rocks and banana pla...

Re: Knee problems.
I have recurrent knee and shoulder pain and am developing symptoms of early osteo arthritis. I have been advised by Dr Aspros to see a good Osteopath. He recommended Nicos Heroditou. I see him regularly when in Paphos. He is the best I have found, his treatment really helps me. He also suggested reg...

Re: Urgent pleas to expand Paphos airport
Perhaps there should be a moratorium on new tower and hotel building pendng the completion of a sizeable extension to Paphos Airport? That would put a cat among the greedy pigeons!

Re: Urgent pleas to expand Paphos airport
Isn't the old terminal used for cargo these days? There's no doubt that an extension to the existing terminal is needed. The authorities must or maybe should have seen this coming. Cyprus and Paphos have been encouraging more flights from new destinations. New hotels have been built, so now there ar...

Re: The Tower
I seem to remember that there were excavations in a part of the sea front area when ancient walls were found between Paphos and Gereskipou it was conducted by the Govt Antiquities Dept a couple of years ago. This held up a planning application submitted to build this two tower development. These fro...

Yes, I agree with you, my definition of a a paedophile is a man who molests sexually minors from infancy and/or children who are under age. Despicable behaviour.

Re: Cyprus; Living the Dream, or is it a nightmare?
Cyprus is infinitely better than living in the UK.I'm staying in UK at present and am shocked with what is going on here. You may have heard about the riots in many cities mainly in Midlands and NW Britain. A new Govt doesn't' seem to be able to exercise control. The new Govt is also introducing swi...

Yes, we were past customers of KasinosRolex who repaired a malfunctioning electric garage door for us. Good service and the roller action of this door was quickly fixed.

Yes, have been thinking along your lines, Firefly. What puzzles me, is why a nation the size of the USA can't find anyone younger, with the special leadership and political awareness skills who is prepared to take on this very important role of the next president?

Yes, Kansas I think that you are right about the Paphos Desalination plant having been dismantled a couple of years after the previous drought had ended. Memory says that the previous Mayor of Paphos decided that the de-sal. unit(which had been described as being 'mobile' and was rented, was an un n...

If Trump becomes President as is likely the huge changes which he has indicated he will make concerning both Foreign Affairs and the foreign defence treaties the USA currently has with NATO would probably affect Europe adversely as he is a friend of Mr Putin. Whether the fact that he is still alive ...

Re: MUKW3 biometric card application form
I updated to the MUKW3 last year. As I am traveling within EU countries shortly, this form which is in fact a biometric card which is credit card sized will fit in my wallet and be easily accessible when going through immigration at airports.
So it really supercedes the old MEU paper one.

Max, When we lived in Kamares area, a long while ago, my husband had a small petrol fueled standby generator. As you said, the first check was how much petrol, then a battle to start it! Then, the relief of plugging in the fridge, plus one lamp, maybe a standing fan..... then hoping the power cut wo...

Seems an excellent service, but it would be even better if the service finished in Paphos town.
So wonder is there a connecting bus service from Paphos airport to Paphos Karavella?
