Re: Racist Britain
Did you really? Strange how you define insults.I would say it was an insult and that in your own words if you feel the need to resort to insults you have lost the argument. Or is it one rule for you and another for others?

Very very sad indeed. It has just been confirmed that the Thai owner of Leicester FC was on board, along with his daughter and I believe 3 others, the helicopter that spiralled out of control and burst into flames. There were no survivors.

Well I did watch it because regardless of their policies I like to know what is happening rather than bury my head in the sand.
I have to say that it was a good, constructive speech which certainly did not incite hatred of any kind and received a lot of applause.

Jim B
Sorry, maybe I did not make myself clear. What I meant was that we all knew what you and HIC would have voted for had you voted - simple as that and yes I know that you would have voted had your papers been received!

Re: Just slowly the penny is beginning to drop...
Oh for goodness sake Jim if people did not bother to vote then they did not vote.No one knows what all those non voters would have voted for ( save for you and HIC of course!!) We all knew the criteria for voting. There were some silly exaggerated claims made by both sides. The Government spent milli...

Re: Its All Kicking Off In Italy
I really take no joy to see the unrest in the EU but to believe everything is hunky dory is just burying your head in the sand! Germany are very unhappy at the ridiculous increase they are expected to pay,France are unhappy and Le Penn is gaining in popularity again.A Dutch MEP launched a scathing a...

Re: Paphos General Hospital today
Paphos Hospital is an absolute disgrace! It is hard to believe how filthy they allow it to be and so badly maintained whilst relatively modern. Nicosia and Limassol Hospitals are far superior so why has Paphos been allowed to deteriorate so badly?

Does anyone know a Peter Manson?
One of my facebook friends has just posted about the above gentleman. Apparently he is aged 83 and has been in Paphos General for the last 3 days in a very confused state and he has had no visitors at all in that time.
Does anyone know this gentleman and can help?

Re: Could this possibly be seen as a hint of good news?
OK Uncle D if you want to trade insults then do so.I probably am completely inept so who cares? :D It absolutely amazes me that not one of you can see that the vast increase in genuine apprenticeships is surely good news. I'm really not sure that the majority of apprenticeships last for 10 years,min...

Re: How does the UK pension compare with other Countries?
I think that the average earnings in some countries such as Poland or indeed Cyprus and many other countries are down to the knuckle and possibly provide the bare minimum standard of living thus any percentage of this is below any reasonable standard if that makes sense?

Re: Could this possibly be seen as a hint of good news?
Perhaps if you read the report through Dominic then you would have seen that 119,500 enrolled in the first 3 quarters of 2017/18 up from 11,000 in the previous year. Now surely anyone can only agree that this is a positive substantial increase.

Re: Could this possibly be seen as a hint of good news?
It may well be easy but not to me on this tablet which I am currently using whilst on my UK travels. I would suggest that you might look at the Financial Times however. Ah just seen that you found a report in the Express too - seems as though they were both written on the same date.

Could this possibly be seen as a hint of good news?
It appears that as some EU workers have left the UK,this has sparked an immense growth in apprenticeships, not just for the young but for older people as well who are apparently enjoying the opportunity to learn new skills. The UK 's unemployment is now at 4% which is half of that of the EU and seems...
