Re: Animals can transmit virus

A tiger has got the virus in a New York zoo, i can see how stroking a pet could pass the virus, but I doubt this was the case with the tiger  I have always complied with Government guidance and adhered to strict social distancing with regard tigers. Love this, made me laugh over my cof...

Re: Geroskipou Bypass

I was under the impression it was to run from the roundabout by the American School through to MacDonalds which would divert traffic from the village centre. All traffic leaving the industrial site presently has to go into the village through a housing complex. Jim You are right Jim. This has been ...

Re: no change for expats in Portugal

According to the National Federation of Cypriot (UK) there are over 335,000 Greek Cypriot in the UK. The 2011 census showed 24,500 UK citizens in Cyprus. If they are charging the UK citizens for their new NHS surely our NHS should be charging the 335,000 Greek citizens in the UK. Or am I missing som...

Re: Archbishop: rules out "solution at any cost"

Lloyd, coincidences are very strange. Just watched the evening news and it was announced that the Co-op were selling out of date food for 10 pence, not use by, but best by. Once again profits have not gone down.

Re: Wrong but understandable

I spent over ten years either pushing my husband in a wheelchair, or him using a mobility scooter in Cyprus. Absolute hell. Went to the town hall into the planning dept. and asked that the Town Planner spent a few hours with myself and my husband and walked around the town. He refused my offer as un...

Re: Archbishop: rules out "solution at any cost"

Dear Devil, always, always, always loved your erudite posts. I sent an email to the President Mr A and related the previously mentioned encounter. No reply as yet. Previously with the last president Mr C I have had a lot of feedback regarding different subjects. I do not want to change the world, I ...

Re: Archbishop: rules out "solution at any cost"

Dear Lloyd (and of course Ann), I reminded him also that Jesus was not a white skinned man. The chap downstairs in the "palace" was entirely different and wanted to help in whichever way he could. I am back in April and will start a different approach. In France in 2016/2017. a law was pas...

Re: Archbishop: rules out "solution at any cost"

Went to see him two months ago re use of small plot of land to grow carrots, onions, etc for Syrian refugees. Just a short term loan/use of land. His answer (1) he is not interested in Muslims (2) if I am so concerned why do I not take them all to the UK and (3) if it is a problem, not his but a gov...
