Re: What happens if someone needs a plumber?

Our tenants had a broken/leaking solar panel.
The plumber came with the police, so I'm told, and gave the various permissions.

It has happened to me a few times - not recently - and I found that turning the computer OFF and then back ON solved the problem.
This /|\

Turn everything off and then back on again and see if that sorts it.

Strangely, for October half term, they are "sold out" :(

Re: Car insurance..a lesson learned ?

Ive been with Atlantic for over thirty years, not the cheapest, but in thirty years I have made three car accident claims, one building claim and a couple of holiday claims, payed up in full without a quibble, with the cars, I chose where I wanted the repair to take place, and they gave me a rental...

Re: best value MAG BOX???

The title says 'best value', but I suppose it depends on how much TV you need/watch.

We bought one of the boxes from the shop opposite M&S, just up the hill from George's Optical House

We paid €120 and there are no further ongoing costs which is the 'best value' in our opinion.

On the log book it is section C.9 , last three digits .
But excluding any type of /0 at the end ...

i.e. my C.9 says A/000000XXXX/0 where the last three XXX are the digits that I have to use to tax the car.

Re: Logbook

On line all you will need at JCC is your car Reg number, a credit/debit card and the last 4 digits of your ID or passport . Just being pedantic, sorry, but it's the last 4 digits in the [C9] column of the 'log book' - which is supposed to be what you say, but mine bears no resemblance to any passpo...

Re: No Nigerian Princes for me ...

I had one a while back but it didn't say how much I was owed.
I filled it in saying my name was Jesus Christ from Bethlehem and the reply came straight back saying "Yes, Jesus Christ, you are entitled to a £567.88 refund - just give us your bank details"

So I repeat my question, where does one register?
I think it's a new law that will require implementation and several Cyprus shrugs till the rules become clear, but I'm sure that, as with all CY officialdom, it will be a simple process!

Plus a future probability that rent received may be taxed.
Look at your last sentence and you´ll have the answer. I guess for a lot of people that will be quite a change.
Why do all you keyboard warriors think that us holiday rental home owners don't declare our rental incomes? :?
